If Russia is kicked out of Ukraine then, after all the support given by NATO and the West, it would make a lot of sense to bring Ukraine into NATO as quickly as possible, in order to hinder further attacks against it. Of course this is one reason why Putin will never give up, and have to be forced out.

What i think is this:
Ukraine should be given an exception to the rule (of "a country currently at war cannot join the alliance" )and be allowed to join NATO right now, and Russia should be given a 2 weeks notice to pull out of all Ukrainian territory.
Because Russia will continue this conflict until the whole country dies, Putler is way too deep inside this conflict and it's either "Russia die, or Putler die" at this point.

Ukraine can and will be a NATO member, but once the war is over and when most government corruption is generally gone. This will not happen quickly, although I think it will happen. For the time being, countries need to directly intervene or at least give Ukraine the necessary support it needs to return its previous borders from Russia.

That letter saying NOT to let Ukraine in to NATO is absurd! Why is Ukraine’s position any different from the Baltics which also sit on Russias border and what about Finland??? Where was this letter when Finland who has a longer border with Russia?? Why is it JUST Ukraine? And if Ukraine were already IN NATO then there would be no war today!
