This is the reason I love Frusciante, you can hear the influences of Hendrix and B B king etc in the background of everything he plays yet he takes what they created, makes it his own style and modernised it using tones, effects and newer techniques, along with his superhuman connection with the bass and drums to always be able to create melodies and countermelodies that suit the rhythm and harmony of the song, incredible

I think honestly the whole slane castle show is a frugasm. It’s one of his best shows ever up there with the Alcatraz, and Poland in 2006.
