The points backing plates are also used on KL models and should have marks to position for Z200/250. I used "Vesrah" gaskets , they were the best of many I tried and as good or better than OE.
John M here. I had that upside down advance retard problem on a friend's non-starting bike. It's odd that a part can fitted 180 degrees out on a Japanese bike though, they usually design things like that out.
