They’re just a couple of people who worked together w great on screen chemistry, maybe the best but they’re not best friends or anything like that although they share mutual respect and has a comfortable friendship when they’re in public .......SRK was always married when Kajol was single so it’s understandable that his wife won’t allow the intrusion of his single, on screen lover in their personal life......She relaxed and did it w/Priyanka Chopra and look what happened...a 5 yr clandestine affair and SRK becoming sugar daddy........ SRK n Kajol had different friend circles and when Kajol got married, there was a lot of conflict w public spat and falling out because her husband, as a producer, was not too pleased w some of SRKs dirty, underhanded practices in regards to movie distribution, # of screens allowed, holiday releases, etc....SRK is a shrewd and not so nice businessman as businessmen go, lol. Remember this is the business of acting, on and off screen when in public....For their longevity, they always have to present a squeaky clean, nice and good public image even if it’s fake, because that’s what the Indian audience demands....stars are like gods to them.
