Another wonderful story and good life lessons. This is my 3rd time listening to this one and each time, I learn something new, or I get confirmation on a belief. When Peter talked about choosing to be better and not living in bitterness, is the way I try to live.
You know, Coach, I'm the exact same way! I read through every one of Jessie's books at least three times: before I record, as I record, and then while proofing what I record; every time I pick up on something new! Jessie is an amazing writer!
This is one I'm going to listen to over and over. I have been considering adopting a child we are fostering and the feedback I hear most says how it's "our time of life" we should enjoy it and not adopt what could cause my husband and my life to become more complicated. I'm so glad that in this book the idea that God never said to lay back on our blessed assurance to just retire in a rocking chair just serve self.
I think it's wonderful that you're considering that - best of luck with your decision, and with the process should you decide to proceed! (I'm so glad you enjoyed the book too!)
@SaywithJay thank you for that encouragement.... I read the title of the new audiobook we are listening to on the way to preschool yesterday and my foster daughter asked who you were! I told her you did All the voices....she was surprised.. It's just incredible what a convincing job you do!
This was such a beautiful story? Have always appreciated Lana! Pierce was a little unexpected but great! Hope. For marriage and children. What a blessing
Thank you, Anke! I think all of those backgrounds (most of them, for sure) are actually Lake Michigan! Since I'm from a different part of the country (and have only seen it a few times - and at a distance - from the Chicago shore), I really had no sense of just how big it is, or how varied the shore is around it is! It really is scenic.
I enjoyed this series of books. Will there be more on the younger generation, now that the adult children are married with kids? I love listening to their lives and how they found love or in this case, how their lives turned out.
Hi Nancy! This is the combination of the two parts into a single audiobook. Because of the way UA-cam does things, it counts it as "new" (in fairness, I guess, it is a different video). Anyway, thank you for asking and letting me clarify, and thanks for listening!
I don't know, Coach; I think he definitely took them on because of Lana, but I'm not sure if that was one of his primary motivations. I think either way, it was God's plan!
Finally Lana’s story. So glad to have her story and having her get her ending which she really deserved. I enjoyed it.
Thank you, Erralee! I agree - it was so good to read (or listen to 😁) her story!

It really was such a good way to finish the series - thank you!
Another great story about this wonderful community and families…..presented by the dynamic duo of y’all.❤️
"The dynamic duo of y'all"... that may be the best title EVER! Thank you, Ge - so glad you enjoyed it!
2nd time ❤️❤️!
The pictures for each chapter are so beautiful.

I can't speak for Jessie, but I'm sure in if she wants to do more!
What happen to Rodney and Becky this can’t be the end of series.😢
I can't say for sure exactly, but I think Jessie plans on picking their story back up in her Raspberry Ridge series later this year! Stay tuned! 😁😁😁
Why is this showing up as just being posted. I listened to this a few weeks ago.

What happened to the end of the story
I wonder if Peter adopted the kids so readily to get Lana to marry him.
