Is it weird to have a certain feeling of homesickness to a country you have never been? Love this!! Also, love your smiles during this video. More happy days to follow!
Awww ❤️This is the cutest comment ever, not weird at all! We sometimes feel that way too. Loads more happy days to follow, hope you're keeping safe & well. Thank you for making us smile reading this!
Great video as usual. Everyone in the USA is curious about New Zealand. So far away. So civilized compared to our country. Keep showing us your country. It makes for great content, and you guys are great guides. Stay healthy!
We definitely feel pretty blessed to call this little place home. So happy to hear you enjoyed this one because there's plenty more to come! Same to you, stay safe & healthy :)
Your new subscriber added ❤️️👍 Awesome trip adventure 💓❤️️ Wonderful views of Fabulous New Zealand 💓❤️️ Thanks for exploring such an amazing and magnificent places and Nature ❤️️👍💓
@@DaneAndStacey You're welcome 💓☺👍💓 Your channel deserves million and more subscribers for an effort you both have put in it to make traveling and tourism more easy, enjoy full, soothing and nature loving scenes more attractive through your cameras, keep this great and awesome work carry on 💓👍👍💖
Yay lucky you can go exploring again! Such a beautiful video guys, that walk looks absolutely gorgeous! We have such itchy feet haha and can't wait to get out and go wandering again!
Havent watched this vlog yet, its 1240am and I wanna save it as reward for the end of my work day tomorrow night! BUT, just wanna send you guys a shoutout for creating such great travel content for us to enjoy. We love your style, how you travel, and how you edit. You guys inspire us to make our own vlogs, and even though our channel is just a small drop compared to yours, hopefully you guys feel good knowing we dont just enjoy your work, but find you motivational as well! It's also been great to see your evolution throughout your vlogs too. Keep it up! Peace & love from adelaide
Aw you guys! This is the sweetest comment ever, thank you ❤ Everyone starts as a small drop, that was us not so long ago! Keep pushing, if you're passionate about it, it's worth the countless hours! Peace & love right back
You guys crack me up with the "when we travel we get lost quite often" and talking about how you got lost on a looped trail. Been there. This video made my day!
😂We joked with our families before we left home. Mum said 'be safe!' and we replied with pfffttt come on mum, it's a loop track, we literally can't get lost..... then we got lost.
Nice! Makes me want to book another trip to NZ soon!!! I would love to see you do a video on the Taupo McDonald's where they have the old DC3! I will definitely check it out whenever I am back!!
I loved this place😍 2 years ago i started in auckland with my work and travel-journey and that was my first “walk”. After this great experience i already knew that nz is the right place for me😍
Good job! 14:07 I have gotten lost on trails too but in the forest so I couldn't see where the hell I was going. I follow pig trails to the streams and follow the streams out. So like you guys, I follow the short cuts to find my way out. Every guide book I have ever read says not to do that. But in Hawaii its easier just to find the streams and the wild boars always lead to water. The boar make a pretty wide path too because they're huge. Its hard to tell the difference between a pig trail and a human trail sometimes. So in Hawaii its easier just to follow the pig trails to the stream and walk down the stream, away from the mountain and towards the houses and streets. Despite their reputation, I have never been hurt by a wild boar. They get curious and follow me but they never charged me or come to close.
A lot of the walks out there are actually closed, something to do with Kauri trees and some condition that's destroying them (or something to that degree) so think it was actually closed!
Happy you guys are able to get out and about now, looking forward to seeing more of your NZ travels. A beautiul location here, even more of an adventure after getting lost haha.
Stunning views and THAT WATER 😍! Wish this was my backyard. Good job on finding your way back and staying positive, we’ve found ourselves turned around on several outings and I can’t say I stayed as cheery as you two. Definitely shortcuts for the win 😂
Stunning video of Piha, you chose a perfect day for a coastal walk. Please could you do one walking up Rangitoto, it's been 20years since I last walked to the summit of that beautiful volcano : )
Loving the snark on this, Stacey (about the paper cups). Been following you guys for ages., But, I'm really fascinated by your lockdown vids. In awe of your commitment to fitness. :)
Day 76 for me. Minnesota had over 600 new cases and 18 deaths yesterday. Not sure it will ever be safe here. Great vlog. So glad someplace on the planet got it right.
you have such beautiful travel vlogs around the world and waiting for more.take care always to both of you. Hope to buy equipments for vlogging to travel and make vlog like you.More power and success to your videos.im a fan
The North Island is so stunningly beautiful. And it's amazing how different the west coast is from the nearby eastern beaches. Yep, blessed is the perfect word. Traveling the world yet your home is one of the most stunning beautiful places. Crazy you couldn't drone. Doesn't appear to be any security issues. Love seeing you two out and about again🙂 Detours aside. Great share, James and Kim
Totally! The west coast is completely different to the east, so much more rugged. Yeah we were a bit disappointed about no drones but that seems to be the case in most places now sadly. Thanks for watching guys, appreciate the love as always! Hope you're both keeping safe & well.
Beautiful area/ views 😍. If it was my husband yes he do exact same as you did 😜. 😅we often get lost while out walking ,does make a good adventure !!! Nice to see you both 😊.
trivia for you - that is NZ Flax not be confused with the flax to be used to make linen cloth... you can also strip the fibre of our flax to make muka which is a type of cloth... happy days .... weather was cold starts with sun - but these last few days "rain" - but today Thursday I've sun out West (no not out as far as Piha)
LOL glad I’m not the only one that had the traumatic camp experience in primary school (probably 1994 for me at age 9?). My parents still have the “letter” we wrote home (even though we only stayed two nights) and in the letter I basically only say that I’m not having fun, dont feel good and just want to come home 🤣
Hi daneger and stacey it's long time to not watch but your back I hope you gonna be fined to of you this situation about covn19 always support you guys and always be safe
Man after abseiling down the hill holding on to flax to save yourselves from falling it would have been absolute terror to find the track ends and you have to go back up the way you came. :(
If you want to see the true New Zealand, you gota go north of Auckland. You definitely have to visit Whangarei, one of the best palces in New Zealand (and in the world) and also Kerikeri is always worth a visit
Great to hear your curfew has been increased, at least that's a small step in the right direction. We hope our vlogs are a good reminder of how things can eventually get back to 'normal' ❤️
I wasn't going to say anything about the throw-away coffee cups. Our organic market here in the states has banned the fabric bags to put the food in which we bought all these bags. They have changed the color of the bags so you can't cheat the system. I hear ya:)
certainly missed this one on my travel to AKL years ago and its really beautiful. But guys too much of your faces AGAIN we cant fully appreciate the beauty of your destination.
There is such a thing as a happy accident. And in this case, the happy accident (for us followers at least) is that you guys are having to stay in New Zealand. Given that there is nobody better to present a place than you guys, and that NZ looks amazing, we have a "happy accident"! As for getting back on track, I would have done the same as you guys - try and find the best direct way back to where you need to go.
At the end it was started to look like some Thriller movie: and then they found an suspiciously abandoned house, and they enter it. That was the last time anyone saw them again, alive!
Are you planning to eventually go to Japan when this is all over? By the way, I wanted to tell Daneger that he’s gorgeous and that he has stunning eyes. Stacey, you’re very pretty too and super lucky to have married Daneger.
Is it weird to have a certain feeling of homesickness to a country you have never been? Love this!! Also, love your smiles during this video. More happy days to follow!

Two of my favourite things in the world! Dane & Coffee 😍 Thank you, same to you!
I have been watching all of your old vlogs during this lockdown. I never get tired of blue waters and adventures. You guys make awesome vlogs.
Aww thank you! that makes us really happy to hear :)
It's so nice to see new travel videos. 😊
Yay! We have some exciting plans... Plenty more where this came from!
Crazy excited to see you guys explore your native country and show it to us!
We're excited to hit the road soon! We're hoping to cover most of the country in a campervan for 5 weeks 🙌🏼
Kia Ora from Auckland, North Shore. Love to meet with you guys while you are here...love your videos. You two are so fun
Kia Ora Karen! Oh we love the north shore ❤️This one was a lot of fun to film
Nice beach, nice walk, and it is wonderful to see you exploring places. Awesome!
Thank you! We're excited to share more of NZ with you :)
WOW...New Zealand is just ruggedly beautiful. Your special effects video was great. Loved it - thanks so much!
Thank you, happy you enjoyed this one!

Copy that! Will do :)
Nice to watch you guys again....
I'm Polish and I've been your fan since you visited Poland 🙂
Aww thank you supporting for so long, it means a lot to us ❤️
i also had to be rescued from camp when i was in primary school, and you didn't get lost you just went on a lil bit of a tiki tour !
This makes me feel so much better to know I'm not the only kid who had to get rescued from camp ❤️ Haha true, that's a better way of putting it!
Nice! Makes me want to book another trip to NZ soon!!! I would love to see you do a video on the Taupo McDonald's where they have the old DC3! I will definitely check it out whenever I am back!!
Oh yeah! We used to visit that Maccas when we were kids. Hopefully we can make a stop there when we do our next roadie :)

I used to live out in Piha, love walking the tracks out Piha. You guys should of went to the waterfalls at Piha :-)

To be honest, we're also surprised we managed to stay that cheery considering how lost we were 😂Was a fun trip though!
Stunning video of Piha, you chose a perfect day for a coastal walk. Please could you do one walking up Rangitoto, it's been 20years since I last walked to the summit of that beautiful volcano : )
Thanks! We were actually going to visit Rangitoto instead of this walk, but the ferries still aren't running! We will though, when theyre back up
Sounds great! Looking forward to it : )
That's really nice, we know the feeling. We should never take freedom for granted. Enjoy!🙂
So true :)

Awesome as always! would love to see a video on Raglan.
Great suggestion! We did a sneaky trip to Raglan earlier in the year but we didn't film... we regret that now! Such a beautiful spot!
Great video guys
Thank you ☺️
After all of your travels you go and get lost in your own country :D Lovin' your work. You are legend!
Haha 😂 and on a loop track, it doesn't get much worse than that!
Day 76 for me. Minnesota had over 600 new cases and 18 deaths yesterday. Not sure it will ever be safe here. Great vlog. So glad someplace on the planet got it right.

Agreed!! What should we call our new therapy group? 🤔🤣

It took a lot longer than 20 minutes like it said on the sign 😂😂😂😂
