My condolences go out to the entire Yeager family. I briefly met James while on Route Irish in Baghdad in 2004. He greeted me with a smile and respect. I was in Ukraine in 2014 when the War first started and my nephew is currently a prisoner of War in his own country held by the Russian Orcs. I greatly appreciate the selfless service James Yeager did with training Ukrainians so they could be ready for the fight of their lives. I’m currently in the process of trying to get besieged family members out of Ukraine at this time. When I am able to I will make the trip to Camden to take some classes and bring family with me. God Bless James Yeager and the entire Tactical Response Family.

That itinerary he passed out is a perfect example of what I love about James. He knew what was coming and even then stuck to his take no shit attitude. I never got the chance to meet him, I had been planning for years to take one of his courses and just never did. But whenever I wanted a straight shooter to talk on a topic I was interested in, or worried about, I was always able to find that right here. He did a lot of good shit for our community and I hope he knew how much that was appreciated.

Wow. We knew it was coming, but yet it still seems surreal. I remember finding him when I was a teenager and trying to soak up as much information as I could when I first started getting into firearms. I never met him, unfortunately, but through his videos, he always felt like a friend that would cut the bullshit and tell you exactly how it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not. He's left an incredible legacy by leaving those he's encountered better than when he found them. The way he faced death with honor and by looking it in the eye speaks to the kind of man he was. Lead by example until the very end. He will be missed.

Same here...Saw him for like 5 seconds on the floor of the exhibition hall at the NRA convention in 2019, but he looked like he was on his way to somewhere/see someone, and I was with the Mrs., so I didn't say go over and say...wished the timing had been better so I could have...
To be honest, he was not my cup of tea at first just based on his early videos. But of course I also know that it a mistake to judge someone’s entire personality only on the artificiality of social media...which is why I was glad to see from checking in on his channel over the years, that as he got older and wiser through the years, the self-admitted 'hot-head' gave way to the gentleman warrior that we unfortunately just lost. Until Valhalla...

James Yeager played the largest role in introducing me to firearms training, and he shaped my mindset about the importance of always carrying. I started following James’s content back in 2013, and he fundamentally changed my life for the better. Before I followed James, I knew hardly anything about firearms , and I never imagined that I would be capable of protecting my family and loved ones with firearms. Fast forward to now, and all of my family and close friends know me as the “gun guy”, and I consistently try to tell family and friends the importance of being able to properly handle firearms. Thanks to James, I carry everyday, and I have the confidence and proficiency to defend my family and loved ones. I met James once at Blade Show several years ago. He was very personable, and despite how busy he was, he made sure that I got a chance to talk to him. James’s legacy will continue to live on. He has touched so many lives. He has completed his purpose in life through his teachings, and his life’s mission of teaching people how to defend themselves with firearms will continued to be fulfilled even after his passing.

Words cannot express how important James Yeager is to American culture and the Second Amendment. Being one of the original guntubers, It's partially due to HIS work, being such an early powerhouse in the industry online, that jump started the MASSIVE renaissance in firearm culture. As hyperbolic as it sounds, James single handedly changed the course of American history.

It's has been many years since I started following James on social media. One day I got some notifactions that he was going to All Or Nothing Tattoo to get some ink. So that being about a mile from my house I loaded the wife and kids in the car and drove over to meet him. He showed up and him being so excitingly enthusiastic I did not want to bother his evening but now I wish I got out of the car and got a hand shake. Truly an OG BadAss! As for his friends and family I am so sorry for your loss. That being said I know that there is an Army of the Lord being formed in Heaven and it is only fitting that James Yeager has been called back Home for service! Untill Shiloh come(Gen.49:10)! Injoy the Peace Brother!

Was never able to meet the man. But I've been watching James Yeager for years now and have taken to heart a lot of his teachings. Not just the tactical/weapons stuff but how he was, how he lived. It sure has helped me a lot in life. And for that, Thank You James Yeager. We never met but you still had a profound impact on me.

Most classes at Tactical Response are taught by instructors who aren't James. But it's James' curriculum. So you can still take a James Yeager class. The classes are still the most comprehensive classes in the world to learn how FIGHT with a gun, not just shoot a gun. Make a commitment to come to Tactical Response and learn how to save a life and then follow through. It will change your life.

James' philosophy has Greatly impacted my way of approaching self-protection AND OTHER areas, most notably his way of elevating sound tactics above the BS, adhere to what works and throw away the rest.
Over the last several years, James continued to be a source of thought-provoking training and even humor that I would catch myself gravitating towards---James engraved in my mind to REMEMBER, MY responsibility to be ready for the fight NEVER ENDS.
WHAT A GUY, and WHAT A LEGACY...
He LIVES ON in our hearts and minds! God bless you all and God bless James Yeager!
