What Song for Our Daughter lacks in experimentation it more than makes up for with its robust songwriting.

I would love to give this a listen, but unfortunately I am not her daughter, and so this album is not for me :(

Da baby’s new album is getting a “not good” and I can’t wait for it.

Hurry up I'm forming my own opinion of Fiona Apple's "Fetch The Bolt Cutters.”

Three 9s in a row incoming. Next 9 goes to Rina Sawayana, and then Fiona Apple (may be a 10 though)

Laura Marling is criminally underrated. Every album she puts out is solid.

When she sings the word “Goodbye” in End of The Affair, I got chills down my entire body

Accurate that she sleeps on the cover; the album is slept on, and I'm about to go to sleep.

This album is fantastic. Too bad all people wanna talk about in the comments is the new Fiona Apple album, which is great by the way, and the usual garbage meme comments.

Comparing the strategy in a knife fight between Laura Marling and Fiona Apple for 6 minutes is not an album review, Melon

If you wanna start with Laura listen to I Speak Because I Can; her second album. A mix of upbeat folk rock and gentler ballads that are wonderfully arranged

I find myself going back to I Speak Because I Can at least once a month. It is the perfect record to diffuse inner tension and to be at ease with existential dread and melancholy. There's something very soothing and grounding about her without ever being clichéd or sugarcoating the dark sides of life. I believe she'll go down into history as one of the great musicians of our time

The End of the Affair had me weeping branches of a willow cascading into the carpet.
