Very good info! I just look up a tide chart for 20 May 2023, the low tide of the month is actually the 21st and the following day which we will be there. Thank you.
omg - I just read your "about me" on your website. That's where I've seen your name - slideshowpro! I was an early adopter - if 2007 was early! Love your work...
It's always a problem when you get to a new place to decide what to shoot. I find that's where practice and knowing your camera functionality and features really pays off. It's worth going out for a couple of practice shoots before going on a trip to make sure everything works and your settings are correct. Great video
You mean in the video? It's already in there. It's the seaweed covered one with the close-up before shooting handheld. If you mean Instagram, I haven't gotten around to it yet. :)
Hello Todd !, I am a new subscriber to your channel. I searched on youtube for photography post production and your " 10 Step RAW Photo Processing" video shows on top. Nice video, I learned a lot. I have a small problem, after editing what should I do to the .psd and .tiff files that create when export a RAW file from lightroom to photoshop ?
I know where you are coming from when you say that you don't want to regret getting the right perspective, after travelling so far to get to a location. That has happened to me on quite a few occasions. The worst was when I travelled from Sydney Australia to Lofoten -Norway for a 7 day photography shoot. I now have a reson to go back there when the world gets back to some resemblance of "NORMAL". Love your channel
Great to get another film from you Todd. What a cool place to be, challenging for sure. How are you liking the flipping scene for stills? I’m waiting for the mega mega R and wishing for a 2 way flip screen instead of the full flipping lol. Not getting my hopes up, you know…… Canon
I know what you mean. The sun is rarely in the right place too. Either too hot coming up over a hill in the east, or backlit/silhouette seastacks when setting in the west. Doable, but not optimal.

for me the sky is bright. But it's very difficult to take pictures around rocks ( shadows ). But it's a beautiful landscape. Greetings from germany
A fantastic location Todd. Are you going to post the final image you took with the exposure stack & Focus stacking?

WOW, Your images are amazing, Thank you for the tip on making the effort to get up so early to capture amazing scenarios.
Great video! What month were you there?
Nice work again, Todd! Good to see another video from you again. Can you share the name of the tide app you showed us early in the video?
Sure. It's linked in the description.
Toooooom! You were in my neck of the woods 😍 I definitely need to check this place if I ever go down that far down the coast. Enjoyed the video!

Thanks Phil. Perhaps we should compare notes on Lofoten ;) I have my own redo wishlist from there.

Greetings from Oakland, CA. You need to move to the west coast. 😉
I think video and drone footage works best at Oregon Coast. Photos not so much. It's hard to find clean lines.
