Here’s a use case I don’t think anyone has mentioned yet; I’m slowly losing my voice to Parkinson’s Disease and I’m hoping to use something like this to be able to communicate with people (especially family and friends) in my original voice once it’s gone.

Hi thanks for the video! I tried the basic subscription (now discounted to 1$) but the results are not so good at least for me. I'm Italian and i speak italian. The results are very nice but the voice is very different from mine. Obviously i've uploaded different high quality files of my voice.
Still has a robotic sound if you have a good ear. Plus I wonder if they have accents within languages like Americans from Boston and NYC sound different than someone from the south or talks slang or hood lol. London people sound different than people from Birmingham liverpool etc

My girlfriend and i used voice cloning to make a coply of her voice because in the event that there's a problem with the internet, i talk to them because I'm more tech savvy than she is. I know the answers to her security questions but they still wouldn't deal with me. We used a voice clone to trick the support team and then told him at the end. Companies really need to implement multifactor auth through an authenticator app etc rather than assume the person who answered the questions correctly is who they say it is.
Something tells me his voice-over in this video is a clone of his voice because it sounds unnatural. You can tell because the audio is not quite sinking up to his mouth. I could tell from the get-go, but I also edit video for a living and was sort of primed to listen for it, just because of the nature of the video.
I just used the free Apple Personal Voice one in the iOS17 Developer Beta. It works scarily well.
