Not only is it an incredibly powerful line just from the context of the game and of Alfred raising Bruce, it also manages to make Batman's simpery over Talia in City much less egregious and more tragic in hindsight Cx

There will never be a superhero game series better than Batman Arkham. This trilogy shaped up my youth. I was only 13 when Arkham Asylum came out. Leading up to its release, I had a piggy bank that I deposited $.50 into every day. I won’t forget the day it came out when I walked all the way to the only game store in my town that was like 2 hours far (on foot) just to get the game. Batman gave me the strength to stop my bullies at school.
Arkham City was an even bigger deal, and I can’t get over how many months I spent after the ending trying to look for hints at a sequel. I just couldn’t get Joker’s last scene out of my head until Arkham Knight came out. And there I learned that even the immortals will kick the bucket one day.
But Arkham Knight, boy o boy that was the only game that made me cry since Metal Gear Solid 4 and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Knowing it was the last just weighed so much on me. I drove to another city to buy the game since it was released a few days earlier in my country, and I still play it to this day. I really do feel like Batman when I play it. Thanks to this series I became a leader among my platoon, and I always thought how Batman would act, as he never rests and never complains. He will do anything to keep his symbol synonymous with hope and strength.
Batman Arkham will forever be special and a once in a lifetime series. I have an emotional attachment to the series. Rocksteady have no clue that they contributed to so many lives and shaped them up, outside of gaming.

I was 7 when I played my first Batman game me and my brother never had Ethernet until we got into our mid teens and my brother has autism he would always be playing this everyday and he still does all of the Arkham games except for origins we would stay at our old worn out apartment playing this everyday together with just our mom watching over us and we never got to have a normal childhood because of personal reasons with our parents but when we played Batman we had hope things would get better no matter how hard things got there was still hope and we had eachother we both wanted to meet Kevin one day to thank him for all the love and joy he has brought us I’m 17 now and I’m so sad Kevin is no longer with us I wanna thank everyone who has read this comment and I hope we get more games like this in the future everyone I will always come back to the Arkham series until the day I can no longer live on ( Thank you Kevin once again even tho you won’t see this I wish I could just have a second to mention how grateful me and my brother are for you being such an absolute inspiration to us you’ll forever live on in our minds and hearts rest in peace..)

ive never played the batman games when i was young but as of lately i played Batman Arkham Knight because games now just suck. After playing this i realized that humanity really lost its creative touch, this game was probably one of if not the best game ive played in a long fucking while. it kinda disappoints me that i played Arkham Knight and not asylum first. Makes it worse that i now know kelvin Conroy died. RIP you will be missed.
