Going Across the Sea is a traditional fiddle tune. It was played by Middle Tennessee banjo player Uncle Dave Macon. Featuring my fiancé Evan Winsor on the guitar. We filmed this video in a beautiful home in Nashville, Tennessee. The video was filmed and edited by Kaitlyn Raitz.

(Tune is kind of like Angeline the Baker huh? All these old melodies borrow lyrics from each other.They been floating around out there for a couple hundred years though.)
Aww! 🥰 Thanks so much! This song is usually done in A, and the B part is like the B part of Angeline the Baker. Yes, many of the old songs borrow lyrics from each other. Uncle Dave Macon did this one. He came from Middle Tennessee, just like me.

But both my wife and I have always liked your style of music and klogging as well as all the old country and Western songs. we both grew up with country music, Blue grass, Banjos, fiddlin contests, and square dances as well as Early rock and roll / Oldies but goodies.
