- This is one of the songs included in Clint's Inspiration CD, available through his website at clintwalker.com. Such a rich beautiful voice, so tragic that Clint's singing talent wasn't promoted as it should have been.
My dad was 6'8" and everyone thought he walked, talked, & had the characteristics /mannerisms of Clint Walker & Fess Parker ( Daniel Boone). He had jet black hair & the bluest eyes.....watching these retro shows brings tears to my eyes as my father was exactly the same age as both Walker & Parker & has passed away.
Did your dad sing too. He sounds like he was a great person. You probably still miss him a lot too. My mom passed from cancer at age 56 in September 1980 and I still miss her a lot.
Clint Walker had everything that a person could want. He was the complete man
If only we had male role models like him still today
This was the era, we now have nothing that compares to these great actors.
Not only was he a gifted actor, but he sings too. The real deal, honest humble and kind. Hard worker and great role model. He will be greatly missed but he's in a much better place!
A humble, good hearted man. The world needs millions more.
Not only was Clint Walker a fantastic actor, but he had the most beautiful voice. I really miss him.
I met Clint Walker when he played the Heart O' Texas Rodeo, must have been circa 1965. Word got out he was staying at the Holiday Inn, and was out at the pool talking to fans. We all met him and shook hands. He must have stood 6' 8". He was quiet, friendly, and gracious to fans who kept him out there for 3 hours. Quite a memory of a Hollywood good guy.
Wow . This is just wonderful. I never knew Clint could sing . I just found this by accident. Just beautiful.
On The Cheyenne Show Clint did a double role once and played a well known stage actor/singer it was a great show! The episode is called the The Conspirators. S3 E2 He also sang on a hilariously good episode called the "Durango Brothers" S7 E1 you won't regret it!
Classic gentleman blessed with a wonderful voice who shall never be forgotten
Blessed with a wonderful everything.: with all the extras 😀

Wow. Big man. Kind. Humble. Decent. God fearing. And, a beautiful singing voice, as well. Well done, sir!
An old heartthrob of mine when he was cheyenne.but I never knew he was a lovely singer.
How can anybody be so beautiful ❤️
Clint looked just like my Dad who died when I was only two. So getting to watch him has always been extra special.
I came to listen today after hearing of his passing; the end of an era of good role models. He was a true gentleman; a gentle giant with only good things to say about everyone and not an enemy in the world. Clint was a role model for thousands of boys and young men, and what every woman wanted in a man.....gentle, kind, humble, gracious and loving. He will be truly missed by millions. The world lost one of the good ones.
Thank you Clint Walker; you will never be forgotten. R.I.P.
our music teacher at roosevelt in keego harbor had all the kids sing this for the parents at a music night in the sixties...great memory
Clint and Cheyenne and Gunsmoke and Marshall Dillion and the Rifleman and Chuck Connors were all part of my childhood. Along with Combat and Vic Morrow and the 3 Stooges. Great loving peaceful memories. Along of course with an uplifting American entertainment experience. Those shows taught moral lessons in their own way.
OMG what a beautiful voice I never knew he could sing
Ellen Thorne He could do just about everything and everything he did he excelled at it.
Yes Ellen I loved him when I was a kid what a HANDSOME man he was and now IAM old and omg he was handsome and a nice guy what I didn't know was he could sing like angle after listening to the song as I rember theme song that was sung by Clint am I right?
Nice to remember what Hollywood was like
❤
Clint had the most beautiful, rich baritone voice. He should've been cast in Hollywood musicals too.!
I wasnt into western TV....and l wish l. Had...what a wonderful human being....not only rugged handsome man....but a man with a soul and humility.......l had no idea he sang...and so beautifully...with a rich baritone......mostly lm so moved by his faith.....WALK WITH THE ANGELS..MR WALKER....
They don't make them like that anymore!! Love you Clint Walker❤️
In all that I've read and heard from Clint, he has NEVER said a cross word about ANYONE !! Being in Hollywood and having gone thru some of the situations he had , over cutting his schedule down so he could spent more time with family, the man is a SAINT !!! Even when baited by an interviewer to say whom he didn't like or get along with, he managed to be 'ever so gracious' and reframed by saying he liked and got along with everyone!! That is TRUE CHARACTER....GOD bless and keep him healthy & happy. Love you. Clint

No matter how hard some of the interviewers tried to get him to gossip about his costars Clint always found something nice to say about them. Sadly, there will never be another man like Clint Walker.
@@janethartwig774 He was the best.
It would be great if people now in movies or on T.V. shows had a great personality and a humble spirit like Clint Walker. He was a great actor wonderful human being.
I didn't know Clint could sing but that was beautiful. Wow
There are few of his kind left: He is a talented performer and doesn't have an enemy in the world.
Such a beautiful quote!
Clint is so incredibly good looking, very good actor, and, yes, rich beautiful voice! He has it all! I so enjoy watching his movies!!!
Clint Walker was a true gentleman. God rewarded him with a long, happy, prosperous, life. He just had everything. Heaven rejoiced when he came Home.
My number one most handsome man of all time
I just learned that Clint Walker died two days ago. I just assumed he passed long ago like a lot of other western heroes. I was named after “Clint” even though his real name wasn’t that. I like thinking he may have gotten a kick out of that. My dad liked his character so much he named a son after him. RIP Clint Walker.
Yep a man worth being patterned after.
You said that ‘Clint’ wasn’t his real name. Does the name Nevison Theodoric ( “ NT” ) Collins mean anything?
For Clint Diesel
Clint Walker---------A Gentleman and a Gentle Man !.
Clint was such a kind and wonderful man . I loved his music and his movies and I really loved Cheyenne ! I still watch Cheyenne every day.
I love it when high profile people like Clint believe in the one true God in heaven and His, Son, Jesus Christ. I was a big fan of Cheyenne and look forward to meeting Clint in heaven.
Pitter Pat goes my heart
A looker then and now! wow. I love watching his shows .Cheyenne is a great guy and heartthrob they just don't make your kind anymore. Would have like to meet him .
I was born in 1948 and I remember him well. He did not go Hollywood or get a big ego. His talents were unrecognized, Sofia Loren wanted him to star in Houseboat. We Italians know beautiful men. God Bless You for all you have done for us.
I am at a lost of words, espacially hearing that this great actor passed.away. The Cheyenne
I enjoyed Mr. Walker in the Cheyenne Show. Grest actor!!!!
I never knew until now that Clint Walker was not only a good actor, but a wonderful singer. I am thoroughly enjoying clicking on all these UA-cam clips of songs he sang in the past and thinking what a glorious deep voice he had. This man is a gift from God, having been blessed with drop-dead handsome looks, acting talent and now singing voice, to name just a few attributes.
Jill, you got it right on, a gift from GOD!
This is what a Real man is.
Clint Walker is the kind of man that alot of us would like to be like. I admire him as a man and human being.I believe he is kind , patient and humble. Thank you Clint for all the memories. Would be a pleasure to meet you.Sincerely,Vic Bernal
Vic Bernal ,, 😢. Heard he passed away 9 days ago. Heaven is singing now once again. 🙂
I totally agree Vic..he's a lost breed.
He was late for his audition because he stopped to change a flat for a woman that was stranded who turned out to be the secretary of the man he was going to see.
Karma at work....his values never changed....a rare breed of human being.
His mother did a magnificent job of raising him with the values that lasted a lifetime. Clint was the best of the best. Can’t wait to meet him in Heaven.
Did not know he could sing. Really good
He was the perfect male in my opinion. Tall, dark, handsome, soft spoken. I wish I had known him.
Had no idea Clint had such a beautiful voice. My all time hero bought me to tears.
Have you never seen Night of the Grizzly, where he sings "Angela"?
I watched Western t.v. series every week with my great grandmother now as an adult I still watch an love Cheyenne Bodie/ Clint Walker🐎🚂🐄
I discovered how much I liked westerns fall of 2017. Clint was alive then. I wanted to meet him pretty bad. But it wasn’t meant to be. Rest in heaven.
He is one of a kind and a wonderful person that has loads of talent.
Clint Walker’s mom must have been some kind of woman to have raised such an upright man. He was so decent, humble, and gentle; a son any mother would be proud of.
Definitely a man's man n a humbling voice, you will be missed
Wow! This man was blessed with kindness humility and lots of talent God bless you Mr. Clint Walker😊🙏
I WISH EVERY MAN COULD BE BUILT LIKE HIM...WOULDN'T THAT BE WONDERFUL!! I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD A SINGING VOICE....LOVE THAT MAN
Wow! Just read his bio and found out he sings. Wow. (c=
There is no mistaking that voice, he sounds the same, talking or singing. I miss him.
THANKYOU , CHEYENNE WAS MY FAVORITE WESTERN
Wow, what a beautiful Voice! Love Clint Walker!
WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE FOR THIS 82 YEAR OLD FAN OF A SEEMINGLY NEAT , GOOD FELLA...RIP
glad he was a believer
What a beautiful voice singing one of my favorite songs. RIH Mr. Walker.
I loved Cheyenne as a kid in the 60's and still watch Clint on Encore Westerns weekdays. I was fortunate enough to see such people when it wasn't a sin to have honest values and morality. God help those of the later generations whose heroes and heroines are perverse thugees.

Clint was a true gentleman, and a true Christian who lived what he believed! I so miss that man.
I was born in in the mid '90's, but I absolutely do not claim to belong to my generation! I was adopted and raised by wonderful parents that are now just above and just below 70, and am thankful every day. I like to say I was suppose to have lived in the 50's and early 60's [NOT the hippie movement 60's!]. Clint Walker, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans are my top movie heroes. You could always count on there kindness and that they where what they seemed. Wonderful examples in front of and behind the camera. Just a couple days ago a guy a year older then myself where in a debate about Clint Eastwood. I saying he was the best in rawhide and how he has lost sight of what is good. He saying that he had horrible taste back then. I have spent my life around the older folks and am happy. I can't really stand my generation and their lack of morals and pride. I was home schooled because my Mom saw how this world was going and she wanted me to be a lady with high standers and morals. I am very thankful she did.
@@glorygracek.1841 Your mother did a very wise thing indeed! 😉
Mr Guevarra thank you! I thankful to have been blessed with her!
Big man with an even bigger heart ,,,,good voice as well ! 👍😎👍
Such a great voice
I have been around a long time. I can't think of one man that compares to Clint Walker. He was truly blessed and loved by so many including myself.
Clint Walker could do anything.I grew up on cowboys, I have a cowboy kind of heart.
🌬💞🎶🎶🎵🎶.. a true hero always.
1960s and still today I watch TV & him. 2021
I loved the TV series and never missed an episode. I still watch the re-runs. My mom thought he was such a handsome man and used to make us laugh when she would say " He could park his shoes under my bed anytime"
Yep
My fav western was always Cheyenne.....Clint epitomized the handsome hero. RIP Clint
Everybody loved big ol' Cheyenne.
See you in heaven, Mr. Walker. R.I.P.
I just overlooked him as most everyone did back in the 60's, but I now see he was a high-quality person who should have been more appreciated--he never got his due fame and recognition.
So true. I watched him in my younger days. Now I still watch him. He is such an inspiration to my older days. 💓
He did a lot in the 60's.
I am a fan of his always!! He sings this song beautifully!!! He let his mark on this world now he sings with the Angels 👼!!!
Very nice & natural.
What never ceases to amaze me is listening to so many fans of Clint, whose best known starring film is Night of the Grizzly, say they didn't know he could sing!!! I'm baffled. One of the best examples of his great singing voice is "Angela," in Night of the Grizzly. You would think no one has seen that movie.
Pocatello Cowboy
Thanks Pocatello, I'll look for it. Had a huge secret crush on every TV Western hero from the age of 6 cuz my handsome Daddy was a cowboy.
I still admire Clint very much. He had his priorities right. Was it only the roles he played, or did he really behave like such a caring man off stage?
Thank you Clint for giving me hours of pleasure watching your "Cheyenne" TV series in my retirement. I also watched you when I was a young girl.
Me too.
Thanks Clint Walker a man who had integrity and kindness in his heart. I started watching TV show "Cheyenne " and gained respect...I just found out he passed 2018 at the age of 90 before his next birthday. He reminds be of my grandfather, my daughter's godfather and my dad...only one is still with me my dad age 93...thankful for tv shows, utube to hear him sing 'I Believe ", and my dad...very grateful.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of Mr. Walker's death. I will always remember it because I was born on May 21 and I cried when I heard that he had passed away. RIP lovely man.
Clint was born and grew up in a small town approx 5 miles from mine. When he became a star he would return to the area occassionally for "Clint Walker Day" in Hartford, IL.....a small town across the Mississippi River in Illinois and a little north of St. Louis, MO. When "Cheyenne" was a popular hit TV series I got to meet him in one of his returns to is roots when I was approx 8 yrs old.....I recall his hand engulfed mine. He was very polite to all that attended. My mother used to know a local girl he dated before Hollwood came calling so many years ago. Thanks for the memories, Cheyenne. There will only ever be but just one......you. His TV show series also had the best TV theme song of its time....." Cheyenne, Cheyenne where will you be camping tonight" is how it starts out....gotta hear it.....just Google it and enjoy.
An excellent reflection of an America that had not yet neglected its Judeo-Christian moral principles.
I love the song. First time hearing Clint Walker singing it. ❤❤❤
I never new Clint sang
WOW
Those of you who miss Clint, if YOU believe in Jesus as your Savior, you will meet Clint when all those who believe are finally joined together as God's family forever.
Amen!!! He was such a guy!!
Amen, sister!!! ✝️✝️✝️✝️
Keep on hoping.
He was a Muslim
Saddie Ridge Not only do we need to believe that Christ is our Savior, but we also need to repent and have faith while keeping the Commandments. It is because faith without works is dead.
When you look the word "Man" up in the dictionary, there should be a photo of Clint Walker. Big, strong, rugged, handsome, classy, gentle, kind, God fearing and talented. What woman wouldn't want a man like that for a husband, and what man wouldn't want to be like that?
How dare anyone even mention the great Clint Walker in the same breath as Pernell Roberts!! Clint was all man...Pernell was just a little boy!
saunders49 Clint Walker never complained and Pernell Roberts was a real whiner...
Two completely opposites in personality for a,start. Pernell was vocal about how he couldn't stand being on Bonanza and Clint was so grateful for every opportunity that came his way.
Robert Bishop....l AGREE...l worked with Pernell Roberts in summer stock moons ago....never cared for him....he was aloof...had a crass sense of humor......WALKER was a gentleman...a kind soulful man...handsome gifted with a beautiful voice.....you are missed❤❤❤
The most perfect man..... Still gracing the world as I write today...
Love this man such a gentle giant he was
I did not realize that he sang as well as being a very talented actor...he truely was a talented, compassinate, modest man who lived his life through his acting and singing. Very talented all he had to do was act natural.
That boy can sing.. He is quite a man and has brought happiness and hope to many people for several years.. God Bless..
I saw and heard you sing at the rodeo in Memphis Tenn. when I was 14 yrs. old. I was totalled thrilled, I didn't know you had had such a beautiful voice . i always watched Cheyenne. I have seen all your movies and shows. For a a poor country farm girl from southern Missouri it was a great thrill. I've always remembered. I now live close to your hometown . My daughter does live in Hartford.
Great role model for us kids back then.....him and Chuck Conners (The Rifleman).
The man has a wonderful voice.
what a wonderful voice. i never knew he sang. this song is so touching too. ty for posting the video.
This man Clint Walker is an inspiration to me and I'm sure to many others who know of him. I dont know anyone like him alive today or in the past really. A one of a kind example of the ultimate man. A comparison to other men seems unfair. We dont stand a chance.
Great rendition of a timeless classic!
Gorgeous GORGEOUS man and voice!
Beautiful in all ways...that's our Clint.....there isn't and never will be anyone that could come close to this man....EVER!!!!!
Beautiful voice. Wow!
Beautifully done! Thank you for posting!
A GREAT MAN HE WAS .DID ALOT OF GOOD .THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.WHEN HE WAS ON MARK LEVIN RADIO I ALWAYS LISTENED .A WINDOW OF TIME ..I BELIEVE...
RC, you’re close. Clint Walker was 6’6”.
James Arness (Gunsmoke) was even taller, at 6’7”, though not as muscular as Walker.
Great voice. Great actor. And a great human being.
Really beautiful voice. We never know how multi-talented so many performers are.
oh my god he is great
Clint you are amazing I never new you could sing very very good
Beautiful voice, beautiful face.
Beautiful man, underated. I was surprised not to see him in the list of most handsome men of old Hollywood. Or any list at all.
@@abigailcruz4155 I agree. The man was breathtakingly handsome.👍
Another one of my favorite actors & now singers.
I miss him so much he came to our town when i was a little boy i remember him puckn me up. He was a huge man.
