How to With Claus, a new series. Claus the only person who can make World of Tanks interesting by not mentioning it once! Keep on talking, that why we watch.
I was an air traffic controller (FAA) for 30 years... and used to pay you a good bit monthly for your wonderful vids. I miss the job terribly and need to get back playing WoT!! I've never had any issue talking... to people, myself, people on airwaves, etc. luckily.
Thank you for your great service in providing such a great content, I am just an Feierabend Player of WOT and mixed my blues in my last upload away with hot classic USA Music. Rocking regards, Peter
Spent about 8 years teaching highly technical stuff. I learned as much as I taught, was much better after the first year. Mostly simple things to make things run smoother and to be able to speak more accurately about the subject and get my points across with less confusion. I was still learning when I left. Practice is hard to replace. We are there for you in spirit! :)
One of the most important things about speaking to an audience is to be a subject matter expert. People pick up very quickly if you are not an expert in the subject you are talking about. Many people get so wrapped up in trying to deliver all of their material they just ramble through the text of their notes or prepared statements. Speak to your audience like you are having a conversation in your living room.
Nicely played, both games. I like the competition in the lower tiers. Talking clearly to others is probably the most important thing we can do in business, entertainment and personal communications. Playing in a band helps, being in plays at the local theater, and, of course, making these videos all make us better speakers. You are spot on about politicians. Trained speakers is all they are. We're just glad that you are good at it. :)
Claus......😂.....I had to rewatch this video, just so I could respond. I did what you suggested and recorded myself for 30 seconds. As I was watching it.....I looked like a complete moron. My girlfriend and I were rotfl our ass' off. I can never be a UA-camr. That was some funny shit bro .... LMFAO 😂😂😂😂
It's the funny things we want to see. Maybe, your a star. We would love to see your 30 seconds of fame. Maybe Claus would accept our short videos and make a compilation of why we need Claus to do videos for us. Otherwise we end up having to watch stuff like you and I did. lol
The "Eh" story reminded me of my old classical Greek teacher in secondary school. Whenever, during a verbal test, you would say "Eh" he would deduct half a point (on a scale of 1-10)! As he used to say: think before you talk and don't waste my time with "Eh"....... Ah well, those were the days!
Thats actualy a clever way of teaching. Did you unlearn it at his classes? In my schoool the Dutch teatser kinda did the same. If whe answert "dat weet ik toch niet" (pfff... i dont know) 3 time when he askt you a question he would give you a blanc papper and you had to write done all the things you DID know... After 3 times, you paid attention in his class becouce he had a lot of blanc papaers... 😂😂😂
@@vincentwiddershoven2122 Didn't seem to be so clever to us at the time 😀. However, in my professional and private life I had to do a lot of public speeches, and I always thought of this teacher and tried to avoid "Eh..". Also we were never allowed to use "Het is dus zo dat...". (Try to translate that in English..). Another deduction of 0,5 points would follow for using 5 words without saying anything. It's funny that I still keep avoiding this common phrasing. I think the old teacher would be spurprised to know the impact of his penalties so many years ago. And yes, I did go to school in Holland......a long time ago.
For you Claus, I was SHOCKED by this video.🤣🤣 I wont do the exercise, but that is because two years ago I had a full laryngectomy. So my voice is more gruff dirty old man, when before it was Royal Tunbridge Wells received pronunciation.
Claus, like really, you know, um, I mean, really, like, absolutely, like, like, I mean, like, you know, right, absolutely, like I mean, me and you got it, right? This is the state of modern discourse in life, on TV, in cinema and in print. The correct usage of proper pronouns is a lost art as well. GGs.
Ehhmm... Ddo we get a afree rethoric seminar today? I love it :-) Ehhmm... And yes we want to see your recording studio :-) Give us a look around or better a complete room tour
Yes, a tour! Mr. Kellerman, I’ve been watching you for so many years and never got a peek behind the scenes. Do you even have a behind-the-scenes, or is it just you sitting in a swivel creaking chair, plotting world domination with a cup of coffee that’s always suspiciously full? Either way, I’m intrigued. Let’s make it happen!😊
Your discussion reminded me "like" all those young girls saying LIKE "like" over and "like over again. "Like" every fifth or "like" sixth word that "like" comes out of their mouth.
As an example of how effective this tutorial that Claus has just presented, he was able to utilize this method over a period of 2 or so years in his deliberate campaign to be fired AND receive a severance upon being released. It worked for Claus, it can work for you.
Man I'm killing it this week. Feel great and have secured a catered , pre cooked Thanksgiving dinner so no will have to do a damn thing. So it'll be football and drinks, waiting for the meal to heat up.
Claus, there is a radio panel game in the UK called 'Just a Minute'. Contestants have to talk for a minute on a given subject without hesitation, repetition or deviating from the subject. Amusing show that has been going for about 50 years, plenty of clips on the internet.
At my former work i gave classes about speaking to small groups. Most where ambarest at the start but quickly overcam that. Toastmasters is a good group for learning public speaking. Each meeting, one person is designated as the, "Um Counter." You learn to embrace the silence rather than feel compelled to use fillers like, "um," and "yea, so"

I used to be scared of public speaking ... Then i joined the army and they made me teach a class almost every Thursday now i have zero problems public speaking for a long time its a breeze.
By the way your advice for people to how to speak and act was quite good. I myself haven't had that problem as my mother pushed me to speak to about 100 people and as much as it felt stressing I never tacled with my words even if my heart was beating like the bat from the hell...
I play World of tanks on xbox off and on. However, I like claus and his videos even though it's videos from world of tanks on pc. It's just so of the best and funniest stuff I have ever watched
I only realised, after listening back to a live radio interview that I gave for a work project, that when in such situations I slip into a broad Brummie accent... UK Clausians will know what this means, others will have to google it 😀

When Claus says, "It will depress all of you, HaHahahahahahaha". So funny just great, big Thumb Up as always 👍👌
Talking to rotating classes of 28 middle school munchkins for 7 hours removes any fear of talking .... and instills a whole new set of fears 🤣🤣
Now that is a scenario that I could never imagine being part of lol.
A growing community of former WoT players. 😂
ex wot players
non wot players
wot players who have ceased to be
I didn't do anything about it, the Army did. I had to learn to speak to groups. Now it is no problem.

Damn... it's not just the birds, but the bushes are robots too!! 🙃😂
6:54 gotta say, that chaffee and the box were working as an awesome team. Light tank spotting heavy killing. Beautiful.

For thanksgiving I will be smoking a Turkey on my Yoder pellet smoker. Did it last year and it turned out well. Happy Turkey day to all the Clausians.

relatable but public speaking is a skill everyone should try to improve.
