I remember walking around this complex when it was first being built. Watched the lighthouse going up. Its a really nice complex lots going on.

Stayed there quite a few years ago - it was fantastic then, and looks even better now. I hope the food and drink is still as good, it was really outstanding 15 years ago.

What an absolutely amazing place. I loved the swimming pool, but the climbing frame was definitely not for me - I hate heights (as in terrified - vertigo! Everyone laughed at me when we went to the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney, I refused to go anywhere near the edge; paralysed with fear!! 🥴😢. They could laugh all they like, I wasn’t moving! 🥴)
Yet a friend has some planes and he took me up in his British Bulldog - it was brilliant (low level flying - I loved that; absolutely exhilarating! 🤗)
Thanks again for taking us along and showing us around - it’s a fabulous place.

Lovely hotel that, we've been tempted to stay here a few times but have always ended up changing hotel choice last minute....think we might have to actually stay here at some point!
Loved it I could rattle around there for a few weeks.
A chlorine gas leak at a Geroskipou hotel on Monday resulted in the hospitalisation of 26 people, including 14 minors.
According to Paphos Police spokesperson Michalis Nicolaou, the incident occurred during routine boiler maintenance by a worker. A chemical reaction caused the release of fumes, leading to respiratory and skin problems for those nearby.
Following a scene examination, authorities obtained statements from witnesses and gathered evidence for further investigation.
A total of 26 people, 12 adults and 14 minors, sought medical attention at Paphos Hospital after the incident. Two young boys, aged 8 and 9, will remain hospitalised for observation.
Following the accident, the Fire Service issued an advisory on pool maintenance practices and the potential hazards of chemical use.
Paphos Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

My best guess:
1/ out of season so weather not the best
2/ construction work unfinished
3/ poor planning on his behalf regarding places to go
