  • Rick Thum and Larry Wisse are joined by the lovely Bekah Suttner on violin during the Saturday night show at the 2009 ODPC Funfest in Evart, Michigan. They opened their set with Red Rocking Chair and Elzicks Farewell, going right into Amelias Waltz. This video picks up just as they go into Amelias Waltz. (Click on HD for a better picture)

Love it, thanks! Bob McQuillen (Mr. Mac) lived down the 'rud' from my mother in Peterborough, NH. My sister graduated from CONVAL HS, had Mr. Mac for a class and he wrote one of his many songs for her. I got to visit Peterborough and attend one of the last dances he played at the town hall. Peace! Ever see his video Paid to Eat Ice Cream?

I am just learning this one from this version. Great tune.

This waltz, correctly titled Amelia, was written by the late Bob McQuillen, Peterborough, NH. Bob named the tune for Deanna Stiles' daughter, Amelia. Not to be confused with the lesser known 'Amelia's Waltz' written by Charlie Gore on Scotland, named for his Granddaughter Amelia.

A fine rendition of Bob McQuillen's Amelia's Waltz, an excellent choice for a wedding first waltz.

But it's just Amelia. Still a great wedding waltz
