Use these products today. I must say this is one of the best beauty products I've used in years. When I got the relaxer I didn't even realize it was on because it doesn't has that harsh perm smell. My scalps didn't have any chemical burns. My hair looks amazing and rejuvenated. My hair really does love these products. Thanks Mizani!!❤❤❤
I used Mizani HG Butter Blend Mild a few years ago because my hair is curly, not kinky curly, soft curly. I can't use their hair chart because I don't see my texture. Anyway I applied it like a full relaxer and it gave me beautiful loose curls. And it's hard to see a demarcation line. My stylist use to texturize it every 6 months. I loved it.
This video was very helpful to me as I filled in for my adult daughter’s stylist during quarantine. It was just a retouch but masking her already relaxed hair with base made me feel less anxious about rushing my application time because I’m afraid I’d over-processing her hair. Also there was zero itching or burning. Great product, great instructions and the best results ever for a DIY relaxer🙏🏽
I'm sad. I have a salon here in Indonesia and many of my client love this product. But unfortunately, Indonesia won't let you ship it because of the chemical. If only I could find it somewhere in Asia. :-(
What steps need to be taken pre-treatment; meaning, can the hair have product from the previous day, or must it be clean? And if so, should/can it be conditioned?
Okay, I used this relaxer to my 3a hair. I have coarse, dry hair but used the mild one as I wanted to be on the safer side and have highlights. I waited for 15 mins and rinsed it. My hair got looser like 2c but not straight. It only took away some of the freeze . After 2 weeks I used it again for 12 minutes , my hair did not got straight again. Next time I will switch to another brand. My hair got damaged and I have to wait for new growth to use a relaxer again.
Sounds like you don't know enough to relax your hair please go to a stylist to do it fir you. This relaxer is the best I ever used, and I've used a fair amount of them.
@@tias.6675 Not sure why you made that commet but it is very common to have a correction if your hair does not take the relaxer or if your hair is under processed. You can educate yourself by watching some relaxer correction videos 😂😂😂.
I have a question, I've been using Mizani BB relaxer since 2009 and is my favorite! However, when I use the "Scalp Base Protector" & the "Honey Shield", it makes the relaxer work faster and cause burning... Why is the product, especially the Honey Shield is watery? Because of this, I base my scalp with vaseline or the Summit sensitive scalp base protector instead and works better.
Not sure how an oil product makes relaxer work faster never did that with me ato burning found if I don't regularly oil my scalp I don't get burning by ANY relaxer. Only oil scalp on the day of relaxing. I never had burning since I stopped oiling my scalp just use hair dress/oil on my hair
OMG, I never had a relaxer make my hair so soft and shiny. I have a short pixie cut. can I store unused relaxer when I'm touching up my short parts? if so do have suggestions for how to do it properly?
I heard from them they are stopping selling to UK. So you'll have to find it yourself online. Wgich is a real shame as their product lines are really good pre-loreal at least
I have a Client I relaxed, I told her I would color her hair in 2 weeks, I will be using framesi color, eclectic color/ color care, I'm uneasy to use permanent color obviously no more than 20vol.... recommendations
Hello. Is there a Mizani salon in SoCal? Or a salon that deals with Mizani products? I live in riverside county but I travel all over like Orange County & L.A. county. I googled and didn’t come across one but maybe I’m searching incorrectly. Thank You for any information you are able to provide.
Hello I need a distributor in San Antonio TX cause I need to make sure the items we have in salon is still good. I just started at this salon and I would like to have everything needed for the texturizer. Also would like to know about any classes in the near future please.
You have straight hair in your pic why would you need a chemical relaxer it's for people with African hair that want to remove or reduce the curl pattern.
TheAnonyy that said the product really destroyed my hair - it took years to recover. I was left with little stumps from the breakage. And I’ve used many relaxers before. Regular strength ones with no issue at all. So please be careful.
im have 4c/7 type hair and june 1st i will be 6 years in being natural now if i try a normal relaxer how long will it last in my hair til i natural kinky curly again?
Once you relax your hair it is permanently straight until it begins to grow out. If you want to relax know you will have to cut off all relaxed hair to go back natural. If you want to straighten temporarily, you need to try a blowout or silk press.
Ensure you don't wash or disturb the scalp 2 days prior and base the scalp lightly with whatever oil you would normally use. On the day do not drink hot drinks in case it causes your scalp to sweat
I don't get it how can it says to use perphecting cream before the neutralizer that normally means with other relaxer brands that the relaxer would still be processing the hair. It says to put the neutralizer shampoo after this? What is the cream for?
TheAnonyy my grandma told me that conditioner stops and weakens the relaxer process. Then the special shampoo neutralizes it and removes remaining product. So if you are afraid that a relaxer is too strong, conditioner will weaken it. Also if you’re afraid of color dye being too vibrant or working too fast, add a tad of shampoo to weaken it. Those are old school cosmetology tricks.
Hi need some help here please, i have a very tough natural hair making me confused here and i don't know which one is good to go for, is the Butter blend gonna work for me?
You'd need the normal butter blend relaxer. That would work for u. If your hair is really course. Relax the back half first, wash it out(without wetting the top) then relax the top. You do it this way to prevent over processing
My criminal /butcher hairdresser used to put the relaxer even in the scalp! She didn't stay away from the scalp's skin! Luckily now i use keratin! Relaxer are very dangerous
True that , don't. Get me started with those hair products with women obviously wearing weaves , with the packaging falsely claiming growth and thickness for hair 😂😂😂😂

I wish I would've known that before purchasing. I guess my natural hair is 4c because I used it and had the same result. As I was applying the relaxer I was convinced that my hair was getting straight, but once I blowdried alot of texture still remained. Not to mention it burned like the dickens.
But the relaxer burns the scalp, it's too hot to the scalp, though I like the products.....If the relaxer can be milder to the scalp, that will be great......thumbs up mizani!
Hope you are not disturbing the scalp prior to using it or even on the day and ensure you base the scalp with a bit of your oil do that lightly as it slows down the rate of the relaxer taking.
