Who Is LBG ?
I am an older gamer who has been gaming on and off since the days of the Sega Mega Drive. Got back into gaming a lot more in the last decade with games like Assassin's Creed II/Far Cry 3 and also because other forms of entertainment no longer appeal to me. I prefer trying out all sorts of games. I am most fascinated by unique Indie or AA games like 'Return Of The Obra Dinn' Or 'Greedfall' or 'Vermintide 2' but will also happily play more mainstream titles like Resident Evil 2 or Shadow Of The Tomb Raider.
and when you sell a card or turn it into gems or make a badge with it you lose it forever ? you cant earn it again from playing ?
Yes you lose it forever. Each game has a set number of card drops. Once you have all the drops you won't get anymore for that game.

I didn't know about the foil cards never got one in 5 years that i have been using steam.
Yeah kinda rare. Only maybe got 1 or 2
we cant get csgo drops anymore for free you have to buy their prime status to gets drops
Why do the cards have value? Are they useful in the game that they are for? Like in-game aesthetics or special weapons or abilities?
No real reason to be honest. Just things for people to buy and trade etc.

Nope you only get a certain amount of cards per game.
