This did not feel like 46 mins! I was so invested in this entire conversation. It felt like a mental carwash. Very refreshing to know there are other people that have the same thoughts and idiosyncrasies that I do.

honestly, I did not intend to watch the whole interview in one sitting because of my short attention span but the purity and honesty of this video were so captivating that my mind was blown in every minute of it and i was unable to leave. Julien is such a smart and open-minded person, it was an honor to hear her thoughts on religion. thank you for this beautiful interview, I wish the best for both of you!

i’m a really anxious person, especially when it’s time to go to sleep. every night, i put one headphone in and lay in bed and i listen to this video. this conversation has helped me sleep for the last 3 months and helped me understand myself so much in the process. thank you

as an INFP, i see a lot of me in Julien. i am a brand new fan but i feel so connected to her music and what she has to say, whether it be in conversation or lyrics. So yeah, i suppose personality type could be a factor in that lol

Really cool concept, great execution. Goes into quite a bit more depth than your run-of-the-mill music interview, and avoids the stereotypical questions. Julien's always a treat to watch/listen to because she's so insightful and honest, but this one in particular is really good because of how open and relaxed she is around you. Nice work!

I really love her painting. She has the light shining through her even though she can’t seem to see it. I just absolutely love her.
It transformed quite a bit during the length of their chat, but I love how it turned out- reminded me of either sunrise or sunset.
I've never heard her speaking voice before and it's weirdly a lot different from her singing voice I feel.. but she's such a positive cinamon roll

I'm finishing up my visual arts undergrad and my classmates and I have had so many talks like this while we're working after class. There's something about creating with your hands freely and that prompts you to speak freely.

I’m an INFP with over a year of sobriety, I can relate to this so much. When I was going through treatment this was my favorite my favorite part. We did art therapy and it was basically hours of just shooting from the hip on canvases and talking about our feelings and what not. I saw a comment somewhere in here that summed it up well, painting freely with your hands and speaking freely. I would’ve loved to have Julien in my therapy classes, super insightful!

Conversations like this are so rare and bleatifull. Just two people talking about their issues and insecurities and sharing their individual human experience. I really admire how seemingly easy it comes with Julien's interviews. She has a gift of letting people be vulnerable.

Regarding the ideology of T-shirts… I want bought a T-shirt that said ‘stay strong’ right before I was due to have pretty major reconstructive foot surgery. Now it’s the first shirt that I grab when I’m having anxiety or panic attacks or ASD meltdowns because the texture doesn’t repulse me. So that worked out great.
