Gold medal favourites USA were stunned in the women's football semifinals by Canada. Jessie Fleming calmly slotted in a penalty to hand Canada their first ever Olympic final spot.

The girl literally ran into her leg. No call. But, I still think USA deserved to lose/ Canada to win- USA played like junk all tourney long.

To the many commenters(US supporters?) saying 'there was no penalty!', I can say for sure:
The only thing to complain here is the noisy music of this video...in the field, nothing wrong. That penaly was decided by the judge with the help of technology and other match helpers(line referees, etc.).
Besides, if they want to insist on that issue, there was a penalty not given to Canada, in the 1st Half.
I find it interesting I can watch the full match replay of the final Can vs Swe but not this match, Can vs USA…I bet you had USA won, the full match replay would be available 🙄

@@dp3909 you need to watch the replay in slo-mo. you'll see that davidson ends up kicking rose's leg (from behind) instead of the ball. that is a penalty. with VAR, no ref is going to deny this.
