The implement fix was the cheaper option, Good job on that Bryan. After that 100 year storm that dumps 100 inches of snow, you'll want yourself a warm cab. Thanks for Sharing...
Glad you were able to repair it yourself. Aspen in the background looks great. I moved to Maine last week and our colors are just starting to change !!
WOW BRYAN, that new subframe is a good piece of engineering and they should have done that to begin with. You made a great decission on that subframe. Well done.
I’m looking at buying a2610 with backhoe do you have problems with the hoe bottoming out on the ground when you go up hills or load on a trailer it looks like it hangs down really low
we dont' experience that problem hardly at all and our entire property is hilly with steep grades. we've rented a trailer to transport it; and did not have an issue bottoming out.
Replacing the sub frame was the way to go for sure. My 2023 3520 has the new style sub frame so I am not anticipating any problems. Is there a video on doing the repair on the bucket from last winter or did the dealer do the repair. I am assuming the hood needed replacing as well last winter.
We did do a video on repairing the bucket, not sure if that was in the video of the bucket needing repair or the following video (Bryan did the repair welding).
Replacing the frame was the best option as the original had a design flaw, they just let the customer do the testing, I also noticed your set up did NOT have a provision for the lift arms to be attached to the back hoe unit. I had for many years a New Holland 25HP tractor, that had a similiar back hoe attachment with similiar type frame, EXCEPT, it had a provision for the lift arms of the 3 point to help support the back hoe, yeah it was a pain as it was 2 more points to hook up/disconnenct when attaching and unattaching, but it never broke, I later went to a much larger tractor, Ford, and adapted the Back hoe to it and used the three point lift arms as a starting point to attach plus the rear frame attachment, the back hoe is 16 years old and on the Ford for 12 years, and I have moved and dug at least q 100 tons of rock, our ground is way more rocky than yours, an old river bead from the glaciers so it got a work out, we set up a place from scratch with those tractors, large house three car garage/shop and same sized barn/storage shed, the rocks were too large for the compact New Holland why I went to the twice the HP Ford and it did the job, neighbor has it now, was all done with it !! !
It's good to see your equipment back up and running without too much troubles.
Thanks- we agree!
The new subframe looks to be substantially stronger. Good job getting the new frame in place and the backhoe back in use.
Thanks for bringing us along
You bet!

Very true!

Excellent!! Not too bad of an expense either.

The cheapest and most efficient decision. thanks
Good decision Bryan 👏
Nice job installing the new subframe, looks much stronger than the original.
Yes it does! thanks!
Glad to see you got your tractor fixed ! So you can keep up on the project.
That's the plan! Thanks
Wow they had a sub frame in stock lucky you
Agreed!
From my experience use a 3/4 drive ratchet and at least a 4 foot cheater pipe to tighten those bolts or they will come loose. Js
Thanks for the tip!

Did Kioti have a recall on the subframe.
Don't think so, seems like it was a redesign for future models.
👍
thanks!
which stop on the tour?
Oh bummer, sorry your missed it. We're close to Rollinsville.
I live in grand junction Colorado
awesome! was super nice there this past weekend.

Seems like there's been a lot of redesign in the tractor model since we bought it over 8 years ago.
Is it just me or is Viggo looking very Gray? I guess we all are getting older!
Yeah, he's about 10 1/2 now...
SNOWFLAKE??
Yeah, we got some snow first day of fall, but it melted quickly.
