This cat has the best job EVER!!! A Museum just for skeletons. I would definetly visited this musuem cause I have interest in natural history and I'm a cat person.

Yeah I just read about a tiger giving birth to two cubs in a zoo. But their species has only 400 of them in the entire world. Then people began complaining that they belong in the wild. Yeah not when there’s poachers and killers.

What a great work environment. Every time I've seen an office with a resident pet or a company that allows employees to bring in their pets, everyone just seems happier. I understand some people have harsh allergies, myself included, but there's definitely a huge positive to having an animal beside you while you're working.
To the good museum folk: thank you for adopting an adult black cat, they have a harder time finding homes than cats of other colors, and the world needs to start seeing black kitties like Indy for what they are: curious sweethearts who deserve a good home as much as any kitty 🐈⬛ ❤️

So much to love here; adopted black cat (as we know, they can have difficulties getting chosen), finally getting spoilt and loved by several persons, the skeleton hand scratcher, the chubby body, and just how nice it is that the museum has a cat.
I wonder if he reacts in a particular way at seeing cat skeletons!

There are probably night security guards.
Not every animal needs or wants company all the time, some are perfectly fine spending time alone. Best to ask him if he's feeling lonely through inter species communicaton.
Cats like some alone time. He gets tons of human time. He’s probably hunting mice all night. His humans would be asleep anyway.
We actually just adopted a parakeet out of the blue so he is not alone anymore. Plus he has a bunch of skeletons to keep him company.

What a great life for a shelter cat. I’d normally say they need to be out and about, sniffing the flowers etc, but that does not hold with this cat. I think he is perfectly content with his new life. Great inspirational story.

This is so sweet! I recall seeing another DoDo video (or GeoBeats) of a cat living at another museum, I think it was somewhere along the east coast of the US, I think it was a history museum? Either way, this is such a good idea! I'd imagine that would be a way to get even the less interested kids to want to go back to the museums, and would definitely be a good marketing tool as well! It's a "pawsitive," if not "perrfect," situation for everyone!

Every company needs a cat boss. My comic shop has one named Bosco, and she's the heart and soul of my business. As a side benefit they also take care of any rodent problems.

I wish more work places would be permitted to do this!!! I understand it wouldn’t be possible in certain places or circumstances because of allergies but I definitely think it would make work morale better in a lot of places. Eventually, when the time comes and he passes on, I hope his skeleton gets immortalized at the museum as a permanent exhibit. That way generations to come will always remember him by. And maybe, his spirit will still live on playing and frolicking with all the others whose bones are displayed in the halls

A cat was the right choice for the museum. Afterall, you couldn't trust a DOG with all of those bones! I'm sure Indy enjoys snuggling with those huge stuffed bears and cats. They don't know how to play, but they sure are good listeners.
