Most of it is from 1929, but some scenes are a few years later. I hope you understand that laying the wicker nets as foundation and throwing rocks on it was not done in the year of opening.

Tegelijkertijd zou het jammer zijn, als onze moderne cultuur er niet was ontstaan. Het een gaat met de ander hand in hand. Maar eht is wel belangrijk gedeeltes van de oude cultuuren te bewaren en te documentere. Op naar het zuiderzee museum!
Na de eerste de beste zware noordwester storm, zou je er wel anders over denken. Heel Noord Holland en grote delen van de rest van het land zouden direct in de gevarenzone liggen.
Well, the TTS voice did a bad job pronouncing it. I even had to change it to: "af slout dike" to get a reasonable pronounciation. This time I was too lazy to speak these texts myself, ha ha.
All of The Worlds canal are super old. Some were digged out. Look att all maps. Manmade straight canal often with an equally old railways side by side. They FOUND them. Thanks.

This is from 1929 but why is the year 1932 shown at 2:25?
