The smart shox were definitely a needed option! A GPS would have been the icing on top of the cake; something like a joint effort with polaris to make a new ride command type of system that works without cell phone towers and with long range capability. All and all this X3 should be awesome!

I love selling these things and I’ve seen over the years how much they have changed. It just keeps getting better and better. If you want one don’t get rid of it because the parts are not as bad and the rebuild kits are A fair price.

I did the stage 6 Rockford 1000/5 and under seat 10” and 4 towers and with the back glass and front windshield in its load as hell❤️👍
I love both of my CanAm Commanders the 800xt is lifted with 32” Black Mambas on 10” wide wheels with a clutch kit and the 1000xt is pretty much stock on 30” HighLifter Radial OutLaws but I’d love it if CanAm would build a Defender XMR Crew with a X3 suspension

I take it the a-arms still need to be braced, shock tower addressed, radius rods upgraded, chassis gusseted, etc etc. But hey! new color, roof speakers and adjustable shocks. Still want one, but annoyed they cant address structural issues.
Totally agree and it’s not like it’s a big expensive fix a couple of extra tabs welded on doesn’t seem too unreasonable

You should make like a 200 maverick x3 to compete with the terible rzr170 and put a 200cc 2 cylinder to make it rip hard and a realy good racing suspension model and a more trail riding suspension setup. I think it would be awsome if y’all made a youth x3.
Can-Am is always interesting to see and it is suitable for all terrain, if I had one of can-am, maybe it makes my dream a reality to be adventurous 💕💕💕💕😍😍😍

Stereo, paint and shocks... Well that was a dud for the hp guys for the fourth of July holidays. I guess when you're the best you rest until the competition catches up before you move forward and the competition is nowhere near. Canam has done a great job and deserves to keep R&D money and stuff pockets for a bit, stiffening the bulkhead, eliminating all the single sheer points would of been nice. Keeping my X3 Max for a while longer waiting to see what Robbie Gordon Speed UTV comes out with.

Just brought my 2021 MAX with smart shox back to the dealer for a second “suspension fault” error code 😭. Only ridden it twice, faulted twice.
Are we getting this in the sport xrc?

Fantastic! Big mistake is the position of the Smart-Shox switch. Why you making the driver reach half-way across the car? Granted we can move the switch to a more ergonomic position.
We don't anticipate people will be reaching across THAT frequently-we had to show it a few times in the launch video, though!

We partnered with FOX Racing to adapt & improve the technology for the Maverick X3-if owners want to modify their machines to their needs, that's up to them as usual. :)

Nice, a couple years behind polaris with suspension and instead of finding something new to innovate can-am just goes and copys live valve to a tee with this new smart shock.
not copied at all.... Polaris is ONLY active for compression. Can-Am is active for compression AND rebound!!! Which is a HUGE advantage because it won't buck the rear up into the air like Polaris has a big problem with!!! It also helps keep the tire in contact with the ground, improving traction and control!!! Listen.... I understand being brand loyal, but being blind to the facts is just ignorance man. It's time people stop with the idiotic brand loyalty and go with the machine that truly is the best!!! Doing so will actually make companies improve even faster. If you want a sporty sidexside, NOTHING comes close to the X3 right now. It just does EVERYTHING better than any other rig. It even has a true locker now. And their regular 4wd is better than everyone else's as well!!! It will out climb, out crawl, out run and out jump ANY other rig. And when it comes to the looks department.... Like come on.... Does it even need said???

Alejandro Perez they keep switching it on their website it was for a base x3 23,450 now they switched it back to 18,999 so Im not sure if they meant to put that high of a price or not

A minor face lift with a more radical look would have been a welcomed move. Smart Shocks and a Roof Stereo? Not exactly a game changer. I've had my x3 for 3 years now. I almost thought I was going to want to trade it in. Guess not.

2020 was a year with pretty big power train changes, bigger injectors/intercooler/fan, 25 extra hp on the RR over the R. Smart-Lok added in the front in 2019.. some sizable changes since you bought yours. Not sure where anyone was getting it being totally new rig, that's not been mentioned in any communities.

Didn't fix any of the structural problems, copied Polaris Dynamix active suspension, gave us speakers and a trunk. There is always 2022. We'll probably get a Keurig 2.0 coffee maker built in.
Copied Polaris. Why don’t you bring up when can am came out with the first 72 inch off the show room and then next year rzr did the same thing
@@danielgonzaga857 Stating the facts for this particular video release. We can go back and forth all day with "they copied" arguments. There where important structual issues Can Am could have addressed but didn't though at the end of the day Can Am is a superior product all around.

They won't reply to you. They only care about the drunk dude bros who are gonna blow their life savings on this thing and buy speakers and stupid shit that doesn't matter.
We hear you & here's where we're at. X3 vehicles are tested and pushed over and over in the toughest riding conditions (Desert, Dune, Trail, Snow...) by our test pilots. As the vehicle manages well in these conditions under factory configuration, we are aware that passionate X3 customers are pushing the vehicles to new limits and adding larger tires (up to 35"). This can bring additional wear and our engineering is currently reflecting on it.
