So happy for you. I grew up in the Houston area where black cowgirls and boys were very much of our culture. So glad that Beyonce is bringing the culture forward.
I grew up in Houston with parents that were heavy into the culture, and served on the black community of the HLS and Rodeo. I remember thinking “this is for white people”. But little did I know 😊
So proud of her and the point she made at the end was so important!!! One title while being herself was enough to jumpstart her career. We all have something unique to offer & I’m glad she chose to pursue that title! Beautiful and wise ❤️🔥
They know and thats why she was met with so much resistance. Thats what they are so afraid of. ITS CALLED GATEKEEPING. Imagine the audacity of u trying to gate keep someone from something their own ancestors originated/invented.
@@Lenora-h2yThey can gatekeep because they currently run the genre. There are hardly any black execs in the country genre with the power to boost a large number of black country artists. I'm black but I only want to see black country artists who truly love the genre and aren't trying to turn it into hip hop. Hip hop is filled with lyrics venerating Satan and Luciferianism. I really don't want to see country music head down that evil road.
So proud of all these beautiful women breaking down barriers and living their dreams unapologectically ❤❤❤❤ so beautiful and inspiring for women - especially brown women who can see ex maples and walk in your shoes ❤❤❤❤
I'm just hopeful that this shines a light on black cowgirl and rodeo culture. It's a real thing and there are many black people who connect more with rodeo culture than hip hop culture.
And folks still got the nerve to say Beyonce is overrated... Gurl Beyonce is braking barriers and helping and giving voice to the forgotten black cowboys community. Yall hose think that them YT are the only ones that live that cowboy life.
YOU GO GRL!! WE NEED EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE COWBOYS TOO! THE FIRST THERE WAS! BEYONCÉ STUDIED AND BROUGHT IT OUT IN HER MUSIC! QUEEN BEY! YOU ROCK! Thank you for your message! HAPPY NEW YEAR, MANY BLESSINGS😊👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰
I'm so happy for you, and more importantly, I'm pleased to see more women and men of color as cowgirls and cowboys! I'm enjoying the ride! Hats off to you all!
More like Country&B. It still sounds like her regular sound to me. Just saying. Y’all know you changed the channel anytime you came across a channel with real country music segments on award shows.
She literally sang “Jolene” with Dolly Parton’s blessing. And it’s funny that country will accept an Australian and a Canadian as country but a woman born in Texas with a momma from Louisiana and a daddy from Georgia is an issue. SMH.
@@carolperdue7534Funny, not funny. For real. It appears it ain’t stoppin doggone thing tho 😅 Amd I’ve bought records from Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, a tribute to Alice Randall, Shaboozey and more. And none of this would have happened for me without Beyoncé s foray into country music. Let’s gooooo….
The attire for the party was already created. Don't blame the late arrival for following suit when you decided to change clothes. How can you not see this reaction with history?!?! It's damn near common sense. Lawd
If she is the first black rodeo queen of Arkansas, then it's a historical moment. Isn't this a sign of progress? Why can't you just say congratulations? Isn't it obvious that highlighting this may encourage other black people to attend or take interest in rodeos and what not all over the country? Is that the real problem? It seems odd to question the celebration here. If you find that problematic, you're the one with the issue.
Love that Beyonce always uses her platform to uplift black voices.

Acres Homes Houston Texas.
They used to ride horses and bicycles down the same streets. Hell, they still do.!
Trail Ride, Zydeco!!

Let’s not act like Beyonce isn’t the reason for those numbers!
But she was her performance had more viewers than the games and then they went down after her performance ended
Exactly. People didn’t tune in for the games , they tuned in for the concert
How could we forget it, the beyhive never stops screaming her name whenever possible🙄
Congratulations Young lady. A proud former Arkansan!
i’ve never seen someone do so much with their title as Rodeo Queen, so definitely deserves it. I’m so proud to see how she uplifts culture! ❤
Country music has no idea how many people are now drawn to it because of Beyonce.
They know and thats why she was met with so much resistance. Thats what they are so afraid of. ITS CALLED GATEKEEPING. Imagine the audacity of u trying to gate keep someone from something their own ancestors originated/invented.
Yeah they do. But they would much rather protect their lily white image than acknowledge her
Black people started rock, country, and rap
DO YOUR RESEARCH

Like everything else they will never give B the credit she deserves.

Yay her! Congratulations Queen❤
The way she had her in the most accurate camera angle❤❤❤ I clocked that immediately 💎

Why does everything got to be about race why can't she just be a rodeo queen
because she's not just any rodeo queen, she's the first black rodeo queen? why must you deny her identity?
@-------------------------oo really who cares

Gaslighting, pretending racism doesn't exist, is one of the reasons this country can't progress.
Beyonobscene
Huh make sense
Just don't go with Beyoncē to a Diddy party 😱
Certainly not. She just might see the president elect Felon Trump there. 😱. Don't end up like Stormy Daniels .
...or to a Matt Gaetz or Jeff Epstein and trump party.
Oh lawdy 😂
