Even within the military, MPs are responsible for arrest. We are just a lawless country. If you have might, then anything goes.

The Military Police can only arrest erring members of the military, not civilians. 5 members of my family served with the Army and the Airforce.

Yeah Nigeria is lawless because you maintain the colonial system that was left by the British to keep Nigeria under their control,if you ask questions you'll know during the transitional system in charge of government the laws works but will never work in democracy.

How can Nigeria lead in Africa when Nigeria is not comfortable among its major tribes at home. Nigeria is still looking for identity as a country..., a long way from being a nation. Some tribes are ready to move the country forward and a few don't want it to leap.

It is dishonest to suggest that any meaningful accountability from any Government under the 1999 Constitution that creates massive avenues for corruption and which also comprehensively protects the potential beneficiaries of humongous corruption.

Other countries can only emulate our good sides. Every country has its leaders and Presidents, Nigeria can't lead anyone country in real sense, they all have their sovereignties and governments.

I personally believe funding for law enforcement organizations should be managed by an independent body. Withholding of salaries is one of the core reasons why corruption is prevalent in law enforcement. A police that depends on his leader for salary is not keen to arrest his criminal leader who has the power to hold back their salary.

Why are we still having hope in one Nigeria where Ibos are agitating for Biafra, Yorubas agitating for Youba nation. It is left for Hausas to move. Even God the owner of the Universe didn't force people to do His wills. But have judgement over our behaviors. Peoples are already fed up with the leadership. Let us think twice and do the right things.

  • @lawrenceonuorah6019

You know the answer but you don't want to answer it. Sir, we are not one country. If you like shout from now to ten years coming, we can never unit to lead Africa. Our forefathers debated our union for years before we became together. If you want to see our potential , return back to our forefathers' constitutional agreement. Soon, the oil and gas will be a thing of the past, then we will see how you will pay all the money 07.34 tillion debt you people borrowed. We are not a single country and can never be. From the current prophet of Umuezumezu

Why are we still talking about what the government 'will' do in education, health, and infrastructure? Didn't the government say those will be improved upon by the SAVINGS it has been making from subsidy removal since June 2023, nearly 11 months after? That optimism, with due respect, Sir, is founded on nothing. We made noise for over 10 years about the removal of petrol subsidy and the gains it will bring. Nearly 1 year later, we are here talking about saving money from government officials not going abroad for 3 months. You kidding???

If I may ask for the purpose of knowledge, why is that if you meet twenty police men in Bauchi state for example 19 of them are indegenes of the state and this applied to 99%of the states that form Nigeria with a federal system of government, so pls somebody should help me what and why do we need a state police with all the historical facts the SAN in the studio have just explained from the colonial to present government? If you go to Ogun state and analyze my assertion I am sure you will find that in a police formation like the Nigerian police institute of information technology, all the staffs there are either indigenes of the state or are from neighbouring state of same region that constitute one dominant ethnic group. And we heard of insecurity here and there which is to tell you of the fact that mutual suspicion is the caused of the fact I analysed above and we still kept deceiving ourselves that we are one, oh my country Nigeria, pls why won't we part our ways and give development the chance to breathe in regions that can unite for a common goal to progress. Believed it or not we will continued to rally round the same place with this current set of people in leadership positions. TALK IS CHEAP!!!

My heart is bleeding the way and manners that the leaders of this country starting from Buhari to this man there that called himself Tinimbu, l dony understand the type of government they are operating. No leadership since this man look office, only to tax every area of mans life and the country's capital intensice (oil). Everyday killing, kidnaping and Army killing any how they wish, which way is Nigeria fighting himself? Where are the Judiciary that still keep NNADI KANU in ditention? Why is there not justice in this country? Why is there discriminations everywhere and if those their discriminating says they want to stay on their own yet they are forced by intimidation to remain in a country that doesn't work?

Nigeria is the hands of every Nigerian. Nigerians wake up and take up your rights. Stop blaming any party. That has been our cry since I was born. Awolowo blamed Tafawa Balewa. Azikiwe, Awolowo, Aminu Kano and The GNPP man blamed Shagari. The Politicians blamed The Military. Now the blame continues. When will Nigerians start working together as Brothers and Sisters. Forget this issue of North, South, East and West; else Nigeria will continue her backward movement. God forbid.
