About how old was your son until he grew out of it? I have an 11-year-old and I'm hoping that last him a few more years but he's kind of tall. Definitely a side sleeper though. I should add that I'm trying to get this to fit in my truck camper. This is the longest version that will fit, my bed of the truck is 75 in so the large size won't fit.

I believe it was around 13. If your son is s side sleeper then maybe 14ish? Just depends on growth spurts.
Would these be could for grandkids to visit and sleep on for 3 weeks?

He is about 4 foot 8 right now. You could always go with the the adult size which is longer and wider.
