DUDE - this is the best informational video on Daytona’s I’ve ever seen. Absolutely love it. Wei’s awesome on camera, a great interviewer. Please do more like this!!!! 🤓🤓🤓
Really? I think they make some good content but I find Wei’s camera presence to be awful to me it seems like in every interview he forgets he’s the interviewer and not the one being interviewed
I'm used to collection discussions that are bathed in sentimentality. This guy is just pure collector - has figured out what he likes/values and then just buys it. Oh to be Singapore rich! There's something very carefree about this young guy.
What a great collection of Mr. Ron K and Wei Koh fantastic interviewer. I have to say that I finally know where some of the most coveted Paul Newman Daytona’s I’ve seen in the last few years ended up.. Unique collection from a very humble collector. Kudos to Revolution!
Wow. Amazing collection and amazing collector. Ron seems like such a down to earth guy. I love seeing amazing watches likes these in the hands of collectors like him. He deserves everything he owns! Great job.
Thank you very much Ron K and Wei-Koh on sharing your Daytona collection and extensive knowledge on the references. Please could you do more videos. Amazing collections you both have and was very informative.
I don't know how I ended up here--I don't think of watches as anything but a practical accoutrement--but these two guys are so passionate & knowledgeable that I watched the whole video. Their interest in watches is contagious. For 23 minutes, anyway.
No but honestly I learnt more from what Wei Koh said than that guy. The guest tells us his personal story about how he got those watches, and to be honest doesn't change what I know (or don't know) and what I feel about the watch. But Wei Koh gives us a more in depth look and a reason for the viewers to appreciate the watches even more.
Appreciate the straight-forward "rude" questions Wei goes for haha. But it actually gives us knowledge that otherwise would only be told through auction numbers
Thanks guys for helping me understand 'Paul Newman Daytona's', I had heard the expression but never really understood the differences between these and the 'regular'. Between you both there were some beautiful watches, delighted that a Speedie put in an appearance albeit a bit older than my 2019 vintage watch. Look forward to seeing more from Ron in the future, maybe a bit more detail on the stories behind the watches.
Great video! Even though I'll probably never be in a position to buy a Daytona let alone a Paul Newman I found it really interesting. Awesome collection. And kudos to Wei who just reels off ref numbers etc etc without a single stutter! Man seriously knows his stuff!
Robins, you will be able to buy one one day. Just believe in yourself and work hard. I never thought I could until I keep telling my subconscious mind to do it.
Very cool style and you learn so many things about watches in one video. So refreshing compared to the usual boring watch videos without essence. Well done
Cool guy! And very tasteful watches unlike many of the most expensive ones. The feeling of lying awake at night over missing out on some rare thing that you might never find again is something I can really relate to. Granted, in my case, it was like a jacket or boots for like 400$ but still! If something is very rare it doesn't matter how much money you have, you can't buy it if it isn't for sale.
So was he one of them crazy rich asian kids? Either way I really appreciate the fact that this young man got such a knack for the Newman. Makes for a super interesting collection. Good one!
Amazing collection! I would love to see the guest talk more about his watches stories. Come to think about it, its kinda of sick that people are paying obsence money for these steel watches.
if you buy with emotions and you know you took a long time to hunt quality pieces that you really yearned, then price is secondary if only it matches your budget.
The ‘Magazine cover’ story is wrong. It’s not about PN and his 6239, it’s about a (never seen) ‘Capital’ Magazine cover with Gianni Agnelli (in which he’d have had a 6263 on his wrist).
Mr. Koh, your knowledge on watches is so impressive. Thank you for sharing both your knowledge and this video on the much loved Paul Newman Daytona. But the question we're all wanting the answer to is, is Mr. Ron K the new owner of the Paul Newman Paul Newman?
I really enjoyed this episode. But can you please at least next time let your guest speak a lot more. All the details about the watch is fine, although I would really like to hear what Ron has to say about his passion, his story.
@@stockmarketmindgames Although I'm not going to afford the kind of timepieces you have, I would love to hear more about your story and passion. You have a great collection.
How can i find contact to this person , i have a Rolex Oyster Cosmograph Paul Newman, ( No Daytona ) end link 361 with papers , please if you can give me information so i get in touch , thank you
Very expensive but even more difficult to find in good condition. I look everywhere for a vintage Daytona. Flea markets, estate sales, antique shops places one might get lucky and someone selling not knowing how much it's valued at.
ok ok .... im 1:38 in ... and simply have to stop and write a comment ...." soooo ahhh I think it was MANY YEARS AGO...2013/14" really dude .... come on.... that's not many years ago .... but I love the video ❤️❤️❤️
Personal opinion only, I think the RCO Sottos are Rolex made, because if they didn't just go for adding "Oyster". The removed the Rolex AND the Cosmograph so they repaint all of it into MK2 dials - so that they would match then-current Rolex signing. Seems like too much work for someone outside of Rolex/Singer.
So your admitting the watch is shit and lesser then omega but just because there is very few of them i want one now ? Humanity always seems too amaze me
Is there a secret strap code going with the Daytonas? The 6241 at 6:00 with a bright red strap? It may be the softest hide made from the balls of a cross-eyed unicorn born right next to Abraham Lincoln's piss pot but it still is a hideous combination. Great video though. Learned a lot from the two gentlemen.
I admire his passion and knowledge for watches but I'd rather here the information from the guest's themselves, he always interrupts and speaks for them
People do love to talk about their own watches and we love to hear their stories and passion. With that said, Wei's passion and his ability to spew out reference #'s, background info and data just catches up with his desire to give the viewer the most information possible within these time limited videos. We hope Ronald K will be back. Amazing collection Ronald, thank you for sharing.

"This is the watch I've been searching for for a long, long time" (Bought his first watch 3 years ago)
