Hey i'm 33yrs and I love Hell Yeah. Metal is supposed to be fun! Clearly some boring people disagree? I love all groove metal both old and new including FFDP. I hope the new album keeps with the agenda of making cool riffs. Funnily enough having seen the band live a few times, the age demographic is generally 20-30yrs. Maybe check a gig out and get off the internet?

just so you all know, the new album is NOTHING like there previous albums. Its actually much better. Each member decided that instead of trying to distance themselfs from what they used to do they decided to embrace it. It actually sounds a lot like mudvayne in ways which im sure is a big reason why greg left.

I agree. Love Mudvayne, Pantera, and Nothing Face. Not into any of Hellyeahs music. Songs about booze and butts are the total opposite of those bands. But! The new Human song is going in the right direction. Cant stop listening to that song.

dont get me wrong I love mudvayne but this is not the right video to say that, you think they are gonna see this? Its on LOUDWIRE tv, if you really want them to hear then go to one of their shows and get backstage with them, but especially this video is not good when their talking about losing a band member and dimebag

I want to like Hellyeah as a huge Pantera fan, and I also like Mudvayne (not great-but pretty good). However, this band is a joke. It's 40 year old men acting like they're 16 and releasing music for 16 year olds, and they wonder why people aren't buying into them? It's embarrassing as a 30 year old to listen to acts like this...drink drank dunk....alcholin'ass? Give me a break, what age demographic do you think your music is reaching? What frustrates me the most is that this band IS capable of putting out good music with their talent...they just don't (ok the first album had a few decent tracks).
You say that like every single song they have is about drinking. That's not true at all, especially on the newest album, Blood For Blood. I admit, they do have a good amount of songs about getting wasted, but that isn't entirely a bad thing. Rock bands don't always have to make depressing and gloomy songs. They can have fun every once in a while. Listen to the newest album, it's very different from the rest
I agree they can sing about fun things...but you don't need to have songs about partying to have positive songs (Pantera might be the best example of this with their first 2 albums).
