Backhoe ponton Shannon and split hopper barge 850 m3 is a multifunctional solution from Baars.
Baars was commissioned by contractor combination Sassevaart to devise a multifunctional solution to improve the access and flow of The New Lock on behalf of the Flemish-Dutch Schelde Commission. For this purpose, a coupling pontoon and a split hopper barge were eventually used which show a good cooperation of materials of Baars.
