  • Greetings and welcome to this headline briefing on Car News. This hour's concentration is on the design, manufacture, interior construction, and delivery of the 2024 APTERA. This video takes a look into Aptera a 3 wheel and a solar powered vehicle with over 1000mile range. Aptera composes of a BINC carbon body compound about 5 times stronger than most common steels. Sit back as we dive into the details of aptera in this video.

Great video. Please make more just like this as any information out there about Aptera is good.
I like seeing that they are now using an Autoclave for the parts. Great updates!

My Tesla model S eats energy just sitting around, if I receive an Aptera, I am looking forward to it keeping its battery full without me going to the supercharger very week like I do with the model S

A lot of the content of this video (posted 2/28/24) seems to be old information or inaccurate. For example: CPC Group is in Modena, Italy, not Turin (Torino). Did the Leaf ever have a 250-mile range? I don't think so. I would not consider Aptera an "experienced" manufacturer of EVs since they have not yet actually produced a vehicle for sale. The Gamma vehicle was released well over a year ago, yet you state it will be released "later this week" (is this old content, even though it was posted just today (2/28/24)?). It is a 2-passenger vehicle, but for those two, the interior is actually quite roomy, so it has been reported by those who have driven it or have ridden in it. And it has LOTS of cargo space. Full solar may provide up to 40 miles of additional range per day (not 20). You also mention 43 miles and, elsewhere, 48 miles. You also talk about production starting in late 2022 (wishful thinking) and Aptera having 12,000 pre-orders (it's now over 46,000). The subtitles get "out of control" for a few minutes near the end of the video.

@@aussieideasman8498 Of course not. If you had the ability to actually do research and find out what is truthful and what is not, your opinion would be more meaningful. You have never explained why you don't even believe math and physics. Dates and content contrary to fact don't help anyone.

@@n.brucenelson5920 "Of course not." So what changes does he need to make before you post?
"If you had the ability to actually do research and find out what is truthful and what is not, your opinion would be more meaningful." Your false accusation has worn thin. People can judge for themselves - I don't care if they ignore my opinion; they do it at their peril.
"You have never explained why you don't even believe math and physics." That's because I believe in them. You have never referenced where you think I claimed such nonsense. What I have said is that after them, products must have real-world tests. That is not a disbelief, but thorough research - you know - the thing you say I don't do enough of.
"Dates and content contrary to fact don't help anyone." Dates and content in line with facts helps everyone. Quit the silly platitudes and put dates to past lying claims. It should open your eyes to the delusion.

@@aussieideasman8498 @DrTeeHenry points out some of the flaws in this video. You even know what some of them are - you have been posting your imaginative posts about Aptera for quite some time. The "peril" the few people are risking by ignoring you is not wasting their time. Those of us who care may be largely wasting ours by replying to you.
You have told us in the past that you were working on a "perpetual motion machine" which tells is that you either don't understand or don't believe in math. and physics . And perhaps you have forgotten that have mentioned this before.
Aptera is assembling the PI vehicles now to use for validation tests for the production vehicles. Not publishing detailed results for non representative prototypes does not mean that they won't be open with the results from the production vehicle testing.
The "lying" part is that you don't seem to be able to do the math for claims that others have been able to verify independently because they CAN do math.
This doesn't make you a bad person - it just means that you will be shown publicly to have spent a lot of your time tearing down the efforts of people who are actually giving us better transportation options than we have had in the past.

So many facts are wrong, there is hidden racism, and even just comments about you can’t drive 1k miles in a day is just so erroneous. First that would be on flat perfect conditions. With real world that is likely to drop and put the range in what you stated which is 600-800 miles and heaven forbid you are driving in snow and cold weather. Do better with the facts! It’s as important that you put out Aptera content but making sure it is reasonably accurate. Then you talked about the cabin being tiny and everyone that has seen it in person has not had that experience so where did that come from?
