Cool that you went to Justine and Ron's wedding... What a nice beautiful thing to do. I love your channel and their channels too. Here we practice old school hand tool woodworking and I slowly remodeling our home to reflect a late 18th homestead, with everything made by hand, with only hand tools, by ourselves.

18th Century architecture is so very Lovely and warms my Heart! A time when everyone depended on everyone for all their needs. The Artisans and Craftsman and the Indigenous Peoples as well. The wilderness to the settlers was the beautifully balanced living room of the Native Peoples. They were Loving Stewards of the lands thousands of years. It is interesting how so many people today are looking to the Indigenous Elders for advice and guidance. Thanks So Much Peter and your Friends. So much history and stories in every life! Many Blessing Master of Kelly Station and Queen Kathy as well! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

@@TheWoodlandEscape Since I was a boy I’ve had elderly Pals Peter. Mr. Schultz next door, I learned so much from him and his dog Snookie. My Grandparents, married 72 years. I asked my Grandfather what it was like being married 70 years. He said the first 60 years is the roughest and the rest is all down hill. At 90 he also said, the months seem like weeks and the weeks like days. I think we can both relate, eh? I always say time flue like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana! And of course my Mentor, Old John Groff, born in 1889 and died 1981. Cabinetmaker, blacksmith, shoemaker and a rug weaver. There have been many more like Bill Brock, he and his family were mine too, when I lived in south east Kentucky for 3 years. Some old folks there who couldn’t read or write but were filled with wisdom. So indeed Peter and I’m sure Kathy as well, so much gained by listening. I’ve always felt very fortunate to have listened. My own parents as well. They were married 76 years. To have been a member of a Loving Family is one huge blessing! It’s about all these things and history that I do Love Woodland Escape! I can see Kelly Station as a gathering place of history and great people for a long time to come and I’m grateful. Kind Thanks, Many Blessings with Love, Light, Peace, Joy of Being and Good Ears! Good Shootin too! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

Very nice video Peter. Have you heard much about Ashtabula, Ohio? It's got 18 covered bridges in the country. The oldest bridge was built in 1867. And the newest bridge is the longest in America. Opened in Oct 7, 2008. Total length 613. Jebediah Smith lived in Ashtabula and died Dec 5, 1849 age of 82 and was buried in that town.
