Alan Bradley tried to kill Rita to cover up the fact that he had borrowed money against her house. She was so scared she ran away to Blackpool and got a job as a cabaret singer. Alec Gilroy got a call from one of his entertainers sating he had seen her in this hotel so he and Bette went off to find her and Bradley followed them. She had lost her recent memory. He tracked her down and tried to shove her under the tram but she got free and it hit him. Rita lived to tell the tale and is still part of the Coronation Street family. And that was without the aid of Google or Wikipedia. Sad old woman that I am.

Sad old trout that I am, I saw it again on classic Corrie a couple of years ago.. I watch Classic Corrie while I drink my morning cuppa before I come down to Mums in the morning. Exciting life I lead, ancient telly and my knitting. Oh and a couple of weeks from now I will probably start counting the days till I get to Blackpool.

hi i had the booster 2 days latter i was on 2 drips in victoria hospital with some antibiotics and steroids had in lump in neck was there about 4 hours
