I understand your decision based on the information you had at the time, but it doesn't hurt my soul any less to see you pass up on Odgen's Edict like that. It's one of the strongest weapons in the game. Give your Intercept an armor with +equipment slot (or skill into it), pairing it with tier 3 Liber Daemonicum (+4 crit dmg) and Sanctic Shard (+50 focus), you'd have an absolute crit monster of a unit that effective have 5 AP every turn due to Ruthless Precision and Enduring Reflexes. The Weeping Blade is technically stronger since it has a higher damage ceiling, but Ogen's Edict has a higher damage floor, plus falchions just look cooler since you dual wield them :)
