Late January into the second week of February…the weather is pleasant (mid 70’s) and there is usually the Festival of the Arts (VERY UNDERRATED!) and in some years, you might even catch the beginning of the Mardi Gras events (although usually in other parks)

Pro tip: best time is when a hurricane/tropical storm is passing *near* but not a direct pass over central Florida.
Close enough to make people say "hellllll no, we're not going to Disney with a storm passing by," but also with conditions that aren't bad enough to shut down the park.😅
Had several friends do it now, and you've got next to no lines.

Interesting. While it is true that an impending hurricane will clear out the parks, planning a trip to time things right is difficult. Plus, hurricanes change paths so it is not a sure thing it will pass. But for locals, it sounds like a great idea.
