Why weld the tie rod to the shift, now you need a new outer tie rod too. You could have put a pipe wrench on the shift of the inner tie rod to Crack it loose.
I was changing both. The tie rod as it connects to the steering unit is a ball joint and rotates freely. The weld is to keep it from rotating so it can be unscrewed
So now I have to go get a welder nice it’s definitely not a short cut and way easier to get the special tool then a fuckin welder are u kiddin me change ur fucking title on video
