Sir I think turgor movement is due to turgor pressure but the reason behind the removal of water or gain of water totally dependant on rate of transpiration during day time glucose is sufficient which make the cell environment Hypertonic and more and more water enter the cell causing stromatal opening and transpiration rate increases .if one molecule transpire it attracts the due to cohesive force thus making leaf environment Hypotonic and leaf move upwards . During evening glucose level decrease transpiration decrease transpiration pull eliminated and water concentration decrease leaf bend...
Sir u are a brilliant teacher...I want to get benefit from ur lectures but there is a problem & that is missing of some important lectures....main sary ap ky lectures lena chahti hon but drmiyan main koi na koi zror skip hota ha ap ny upload ni kiya hota...kindly help me in this regard...I am very thankful to u if u upload all the lectures of chap no.16 2nd year biology
As you said sir autonomic movement is inherent.. So how can Sismonastic movement be under it.. As we are giving stimulus which is not inherent rather its external? So how is the classification correct?
Mashallah sir I have a confusion in sleep movement what's the inherent stimulus for the release of water from pulvinus at night time if it is independent on concentration of water
Agreed....Infact Most of our fellow teachers following this topic from the text book. the classification in the book is a bit ambiguous. Actually, Tactic movements should not be entirely categorized under autonomic movements. they can be spontaneous and induced as well. the example given in the text book is opposite to the definition.
