At 1:14:45, when Eto plays 65 million to get the Muscles, he does not shuffle his hand. Could that be why Animal knows that the hook is the right play, knowing that Eto was playing thrash?
Wait maybe I missed something: any explanation on why the new ruling was introduced, after combat bonus attacks not triggering when the clones are defeated?
It was an official Restoration ruling that released along with the new end-of-game ruling. If any fighter is defeated during the first combat of a bonus attack card, then the second combat will not trigger. They just wanted to try and make the ruling more intuitive.
@@UnmatchedTournament Thank you for the response! It seems quite the choice... not exactly consistent with all the other after combat effects (that don't require adjacency) that keep triggering even if the character that played the card is defeated. Especially since bonus attacks don't require to maintain adjacency in the first place 🤔
@Riccardo C. you're right it doesn't seem consistent, but maybe it helps them out with future designs. Either way it definitely helped make that game 2 very exciting!
@@UnmatchedTournament yeah I was low-key hoping for an Achilles win, I've never seen him win in any of the matches in my group. We've still got a lot to learn! Thank you for the uploads and commentary guys!
Well discard piles are public knowledge, so you can always ask to look through your opponent's discard pile. Each card has its count in the bottom corner which will tell you how many are in the deck total. Keeping track of what has been played is a huge part of competitive Unmatched. Thankfully it's pretty easy to do!
Hello, I would like to know if there is a page with the official tournament rules for drafting, banning and mulligan. I would love to incorporate them with my play group. Many thanks!
Here is the official tournament rules! You should be able to find everything in here. docs.google.com/document/d/1n-hhSEoAWCc3kr7-nnge2HrpojOjuBXou8I9n8NI6EE/edit?usp=drivesdk
Eto's big mistake on the last match was not playing aggressive against huntsman, knowing animal he’ll definitely get her the 7 free heals, that ended up in a huge punishment that lead to animal championship. Gg's tho.

That Red v. Bigfoot match was nail-biting
Yes even though it was a somewhat short match, every game was so close!
Great final, thank you for uploading it!
Thank you for watching!

Could have been! Though if he had the feint that wins no matter what, so I don't think it actually made a difference.
