For those of you that don't know what the chant at the end is saying. It's Latin, it means save us from danger, save us from evil. The actual words are: "Servatis a periculum, servatis a maleficum"

this is one of the most epic songs of evanescence.
"I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away..." The tune that goes with that line is really powerful for some reason. Wish there was more of that.

I always found it ironic that the beginning of a song called Whisper is the loudest part of the album.

Funfact: The last category fits basicaly every main character in a story I´m writing on DeviantArt. Depending on who is in the role of the protagonist, each of them are either the protagonist, the antagonist or a mysterious side-character with unknown motives and abbilities who often seems to just be playing around with everyone (ok, that´s always the same guy, and it gets even more obvious when he´s actually in the spotlight for longer than half a page, but still).

Is it odd how I listen to this song partially to welcome the painful memories if pain, fear, and sadness is all I've ever really felt? No matter where I go, no house I move to is truly "home" for me. Only about 4 or 5 people are truly "family". I hardly ever feel true "happiness" anymore. I stay in a room that will never really be "mine". I could list things of this sort for hours. But, no matter how much that saddens me, I find slight comfort in those thoughts.
