@@ArmenianFilipino7 too bad we don't have the TRD version here. I prefer the Camry over the Accord due to the Cruise Control option is more useful than the sunroof. But it would be best to have both lol 😂
Bro, for my opinion I much like than camry than the accord because camry is my dream car when I was little kid, but for my opinion my favorite is 2.4 V 😁 because the interior is much nicer than the 3.5 Q.
Just bought a 2007 Camry V6 60k mileage, drove it on the highway from Iligan (where I bought it) to CDO, I even managed to pass 160kph, AND it was superb. It's perfect for Mindanao roads. Amazing car, easily beats my BR-V and my mom's Montero. I can never imagine myself buying another underpowered made for Philippines car ever again.
Anyone watching this, do yourself a favor and buy an XV40, the year model is negligible -- easily the best car you can buy for the price it's on offer. The best bang for the buck on the market.

@@NuSkinbyPaolo hi the accord v6 has vcm which deactivates 3 , 4 and 6 cylinder mode depends on driving conditions and speed. the accord v6 is better when it comes to mileage ( mine is actually for sale ) 👍 . the 2.4 liter engine definitely is cheaper to run and mileage would be a tad better but not by much. I have both the 2.4 and 3.5 of the accord . power of the v6 is definitely addicting especially overtaking and highway speeds when needed.
accord v6 in bad traffic around 6km per liter
highway can go to 15km per liter
camry v6 4 to 5 km per liter
highway 12km per liter
accord 2.4 would be 7 to 8km traffic
highway 14 to 15km

I have driven the Toyota's V6 on a Lexus badge and of course it was smooth. I could not find a similar generation Honda or Acura with the same V6 to test drive, but drove the 4 cylinder, which has peppy low end torque for transmission gearing. Fit and finish I would give to Toyota, but the fun to drive would go to the Honda. It's sad that today's general consumers are preferring to go with SUV or Crossover vehicles when the sedan once ruled our roads. Life is too short to drive boring cars. Sadly the current generation Accord are no longer available with a V6 and going with smaller 4 cylinders and turbo charged engines.

I prefer the 7th Gen accord interior to the 8th. Also it has cruise control and a more reliable and frugal V6 engine (No Cyl management system)

7th gen V6 accord ko sir pero may cruise control ung skin.. The problem with that camry is the dashboard hindi sya leather mabbakbak sya hindi nman pdeng lagyan ng cover ksi may airbag.magppa fabricate ka pra maging maayos..

Exterior wins the honda, interior wins the toyota for me, how is the long term usage, what’s the problem u faced so far(in both)? Im a bit worried with the vcm of the accord, watched few vids regarding it, it scares me a little. Also it seems the camry is faste then the accord. Idk maybe because of the body?
my vcm still works so from 08 to 2021 with no issues yet :) the accord is a drivers car handles slightly better lighter . the camry is more comfortable and better nvh . both cars have about the same power accord has 271 camry has 268hp. problems are all wear and tear parts really belts and hoses thats about it nothing major yet

honest answer Id pass on the ford escape parts are pretty expensive as ford parts in the philippines are higher than the norm compared to toyota,honda etc. i think the vitara with the v6 engine is a great buy 😃

I honestly recommend the v6 on both cars . camry has the better interior and options plus better ride. accord is lighter to drive both engines are great 👍 matter of what you like more I suggest driving both

May auto Roll Up Roll Down Windows yan parehas sa remote sir na try mo na ba? 4 windows sa accord im not sure sa v6 camry ksi sa 2.4 namin 1 window lng ung sa driver side ang pwede. sa 7th gen v6 accord ko 4 windows naccontrol sa remote.

Do you still have these cars? Does the VCM need system update? Does the VCM really work? How many kL per liter?
sold both but love both car’s equally :) nothing like v6 engines on midsize sedans. it doe’s especially on the highway and how you drive as well :)

Is true na De tuned yung V6 8th gen CP3 Accord dito sa pilipinas?, also whats the 0-60 / 0-100 kph time on this (USDM Spec time is 6.5 sec)
just by like 15hp if the numbers online are accurate 👍 never clocked the 0 to 60 or to 100 but its a very fast car for the intended purpose that is suppose to be a comfortable sedan which it is :) not like the engines of now with small displacements with turbos .

sir important question. Napapansin niyo ba sa camry may konting delay pag press mo ng gas pedal? Big deal kasi sa akin yon lalo na kapag kailangan rush yung driving ko, challenge tuloy tumutok sa traffic, hirap tantyahin hindi kasi immediate yung response, may delay talaga. Napansin ko rin yan sa altis. Pero sa ibang car brands walang ganon lalo na mga nissan.
hi I honestly dont have that problem with my xv40 is yours the same model? did you have it checked? better to have it scanned first just to be sure on that delay issue 😊
@@ArmenianFilipino7 2.4V sir. Delay is just only milliseconds if i feel it closely when i press the pedal. It's just that i have owned honda, nissan, mitsubishi cars before but this feels different, i even drove the altis of my brother, it also has that millisecond delay. I don't know much about cars but just wanna get feedback from knowledgeable people here if this is normal and a throttle design unique to toyotas
@@hendrixdaemon7419 ok it could also be because your comparing the camry to smaller vehicles and also the nature of the camry being a bigger heavier sedan built.for comfort . But the v6 has no delay as i also have the accord v6 in terms of response would be about the same. Handling accord is better for sure. I wish I could see or drive your vehicle to make a.proper assestment. But if its just milliseconds im sure that wont be a problem at all 🙂
@@ArmenianFilipino7 great point actually sir, heavy nga naman yung camry. Anyway, nakapag adjust na naman ako. Pag nasa 50kph ka na ,from there overtaking is great! ramdam ko yung slingshot na acceleration and response. Namiss ko lang yung sa traffic na tutukan at may rush ako na pupuntahan, mas confident ako sa lighter cars mas mabilis ang response pag sa traffic at singitan.
Ung D ng camry city driving and more fuel efficient.. Use the sport mode with + and - sign.
