I wrote a letter to Dom in around 1996, when he first started appearing on TV. He wrote me a hand written letter back. A few years later, I met him in Blackpool (of all places) and he remembered the letter. We had a chat and he was a very friendly guy 👍
This was such a huge part of my childhood, never missed a saturday morning, I'm so happy they made the decision to do this, so many memories, thanks for filming the experience!
I watched this show as a kid, I was desperate to go on it, and my dad once walked in whilst I was watching it and then loved watching it, too! So much so that he talked about it with other adults and showed me the TV schedule when they were on the front muck-mucking each other. I had no idea that this tour was for adults. I didn't book a ticket cause I thought it'd be a kid thing. Dick and Dom were pretty awesome and if I had to to describe them in one word, it would be: BOOOOOOOGIES!!!!
Dick and Dom really pushed the boundaries of kids TV back in the early noughties. I was in the last year of school when Bogies was being played in every classroom! 😆
I was in my late teens/early 20s when this was on & even I watched it religiously every weekend. It was so brilliant. Watching this made me want to go to the tour.
Thanks. It brought back some funny memories. I remember printing my uni house mates stickers with each of our goofy faces on for a trip to Alton Towers.
Two childhood legends right there on the stage. The show looked amazing, brought back so many memories, wish they would bring the show back on tv but cant see it happening
i know how you feel my childhood memory is Blue Peter and know i work on the show never thought when i was a kid watching Blue Peter many years later i would wokon it
I used to watch it, it was the best ever, especially when they made a full of themselves out in public shouting BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS. It was so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤
Great video Charlotte and Shawn from childhood at Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow LIVE 20th Anniversary Show at the Buxton Opera House! In this vlog, we share highlights from this awesome trip down memory lane, featuring all of our favorite moments from the show! This includes Bogies, Creamy Muck Muck, and much more! keep the good videos coming on the theSanbrooke Adventures, Charlotte and Shawn.
I was there in the front row, we were the "black is a colour" idiots 😂 I remember seeing you guys around the theatre! Lovely vlog! Now we can all relive it 😁
Loved this!! Shame you couldn't include any bogies footage, that's my favourite bit lol. But it was still great to see all these old games and characters from my childhood. I still remember me and my friends in primary school being told off for doing the pants dance in the hallway. 😂 And you're right, Dick and Dom haven't aged at all. They look amazing. 😍 Thank you for sharing this with us. 😊
Remember this from my mid-childhood, bogies was always funny. Think I may have lost afew brain cells watching the full show at my age though. Glad you guys had fun. Buxton is lovely in summer
I used to watch this show as I think my sister like watching it. I on the other hand always thought it was gross and I really hated it 😂 but it’s nice you can relive your childhood again 😂
I remember watching the show too on a Saturday morning back when I was like 4 years old (I didn’t fully understand what was right and wrong at the time) and before heading over to my Grandparents for the evening. I was disappointed when I heard that it had been cancelled and it meant I had to find something else to watch instead. (I’m currently having to go through the same thing again at the moment because of Soccer AM ending completely at the end of the 2022/23 Football season) If it was to be made for TV today, I think it would have to be Primetime on a Saturday night and played with Adults like in the tour to avoid offending today’s children. P.S. I think the Bogies catchphrase is written somewhere on the floor quotes area on the Blackpool promenade right outside the Tower. (I always have a hard time trying to find it myself)
Just fully watched the show, didn't watch it before hand as seeing it live in Sheffield. The show was exactly the same and loved it. The thing is about watching your VLOG as well guys is that I can re-watch the show I saw in Sheffield with a different twist due to all the different bungalow heads. Grabbed one of the T-Shirts as well for the occasion and got to meet dick and dom. Thanks Shawn for answering my questions on Facebook before the show and for recording your experience so I can enjoy the show from time and time again. Now what about a Raven or Slammer Live?!?! :D
Well Power Rangers is doing a 30th anniversary special on Netlifx with some of the original cast this month (Trini/Thuy Tran past in 2001, but her daughter is introduced. JDF was not apart of it and he passed a few months ago. Jason/Austin St. John has been in some hot water, Kimberley/Amy Jo Johnson did not like the terms but she still partaking in the festivities in other ways-I also don't think Bulk and Skull will be in the special but their actors do get around to conventions). They also brought the current cast back for 10 more episodes coming in the fall
I sore it when it was in nottingham. it was soo nice seeing it again after 17 years and it was soo true to the original show like its still just as good as when i was a kid.
Woke just means awake to injustice and inequality. Dick and Dom were never racist or homophobic. Just the silliest willies ever. Bring back Dick and Dom on TV!!! Love: a ‘Wokey’ 🤪 Oh and to add: I went tonight and PC Harry Batt said “out with the Tories”. Guess you may be more ‘woke’ than you thought if you like Dick & Dom
Two most legends when growing up, used to watch them and always found show very entertaining & funny to watch. Favourite 100% bogies especially in the cinema as audience got involved which was hilarious to watch. Hope they do a future tour in future? With more comedy like this, also I think Woody and Kleiny are the modern day them. Both duo's really entertaining, funny to watch and create good memories for all to remember & enjoy for a lifetime. Would love to go & see them live, looks really good, would watch as would like to get involved from audience point of view, but overall looks a lot of fun. Cheers for filming, uploading, really enjoyed and yeah, hope we get something more like this from both of them in the future. 😀👍
36:42 Haven't heard about this show called Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow until today. It never aired in the US or Internationally and when I was looking for a DVD of the show, all I could find it on was Region 2 on DVD, so it was never released on DVD in North America. At least I have a region free DVD Player at home since North America Region 1, but I can understand why the show was not a very popular children's show and why it ended after reading about it. I stuck through the whole performance rather than turn it off how fun and cheesy it was. Wait until I tell my friends back home in the states about the show.

I was one of the contestants on the show and I can confirm it was a lot of fun and being a co-winner was definitely a bonus 🎉🎉
Absolutely brilliant!
We were rooting for you man! 😂

How did you get away with filming in the theatre?
Filming and photos are allowed for this show!
wow 20 years of Dick and Dom in da Bungalow.
If you're still there, play Bogies during the show.

@@FourThousandMilesTogether Exactly history can't be changed and old school telly was better and when we could properly laugh.
i used to watch dick and dom in bunglow on tv you both lucky to watch them
This was such a good vlog, really enjoyed the show highlights, so funny
Thank you!
That's a name that would never fly in the US since "dick" and "dom" both have very NSFW meanings 😂😂
😂😂😂
This was way better than ministry of mayhem but not as good as SMTV
This does make me think how Nick can still get away with slime, then again I think most of them are their own actors or other celebs now
It was such a great show!
Oh my days, your so lucky as tickets sold out fast, all the custard pies and mess 😅
It was great to see it!
