Who knew that 2 words could cause so much drama?! Leave your suggestions for where the boys should play one final game of Bogies and we'll pin the best one ⬇ 🇳🇺
I currently work in a secondary school and the other day while sitting in the staff room, I heard a bunch of kids shouting "BOGEYS" as they walked past. Truly a timeless classic.
I remember waking up and watching Dick and Dom all through my childhood. It’s so nice to see that are still healthy and seem to be genuinely good people (unlike a lot of children presenters from the past)
Such an awesome show, all part of the early 00's identity. My brother's mate was on it, he was like a celeb for a year lol. Good times, now kids watch TikToks and shitty animated remakes of our childhood.
I feel incredibly lucky to have actually appeared on the show with my mates! Remember doing the application then having the BBC come to our school to film us before being chosen to go on! I'm even on one of their dvds!
I remember seeing them by chance at a museum in Manchester and my mum noticed and shouted bogies at the top of her lungs in a quiet room. I’m still struggling with awkwardness nearly 20 years later
Splatalot, Absolute Genius, Dick & Dom's Bungalow, Diddy TV and Diddy Dick and Dom, The Legend of Dick and Dom, Dick and Dom's Hoopla. Their shows are pretty much ingrained into my memory. So finding out that they're DJs is a surprise but a welcome one at least.
Dom came to my primary school years ago, for no actual reason that I was able to gather, because he was only there for about ten minutes to pick something up, but he was naturally mobbed by kids wanting an autograph- me included. I remember explaining all the Dick and Dom shows to my friend while in line (she knew them all, but I was just very excited at the time) and Dom overheard me talking about the Bogies section of Bungalow, so somewhere in my house is a very old autograph with “Bogies” written on it in his handwriting. Truly a core memory for me.
Class story, I have something similar but involving Woody's actor from This Is England. His childhood best mate was a support teacher at my high school, he ended up telling Joseph Gilgun how much me and my mate loved the film. They met up and he signed a poster for us both and even recorded and little video on a camera and burnt it to CD to watch. He even came into the school some time later. I was in the exclusion unit for bad behaviour, just my luck😅 still fuming to this day.
@@fablenumber1fan Fantastic story bloody hell and v cool of your teacher to tell him. absolutely typical he comes to your school on the day you’re not there though. Rip.
My god Dick and Dom were the pinnacle of cbbc back in the day, loved watching them. That whole era was great though, proper telly. Im so glad I grew up watching that era
I remember getting a letter back confirming our place on the show and then it never happened and fell through because the show was ending. Absolutely gutted, but so glad I got to have enjoyed this in the height of its hayday ♥️
Watched Bungalow every Saturday from about 2004ish until the last episode (I was a bit too young for the first couple of series). I always watched it with my older sister and we loved it, it was the funniest thing on TV at that point. Then I remember that, at some point, some of my friends tried to apply for the show and they kept trying to get me to join them, but I was too scared 😭 Would love a final Bogies at the PMQs so the Tories can know exactly what we think of them.
Absolute legends of a whole generation, happy as fuck to see these guys chatting about the old days, brings back happy memories of playing bogies with friends out in public haha
It's so weird seeing these people be real people. As a kid I always viewed them as far above everyone else and stuff like that but they really are just regular people
Saturday mornings when I was about 10-11 WERE these two. They made me so happy and I laughed so much I choked up half my breakfast. They should have received awards for bringing so much joy to so many. That's what I call quality children's television lol 😂
I tried to apply for the bungalow and it was so difficult to get my friends to remember to fill in the form, not lose it, and bring it back to school. trying to find friends who had a spare passport photo aswell was so difficult! I probably wouldn't have made it on the show but the volume of applications but trying to get everyone to return the forms back to me was the hardest part!! I tried 3 damn times!
Sooooooo, this is two men living in a flat together who invited random children in so that they could play made-up 'games' with them... Do the police know about this?
I remember I played bogies in the job center with my friend while waiting for his mum, we just got giggles. Was surprised, thought we would get chucked out lmao
Certainly a Highlight of my childhood, geezers. Good memories watching these, art attack jungle run, and many others. Lucky to have grown up in this time.
I remember the Bogies game, but I never knew it came from the show. I did actually watch the show sometimes, so I don't know how I could have forgotten that.
These pair were comedy geniuses! I used to watch it with my little cousin when I was babysitting her and we would both be laughing our heads off! This show wasn’t just for kids 😂 the innuendos were class!
when me and my brother went to the store with our parents, we needed to find something to do and we knew the perfect thing. we would walk around the store shouting bogies like the show 😂 absolute legends these two !
God I miss mail-in applications. Same with magazine competitions as a kid, sending in pages with a hand written letter. Seems like the physical satisfaction you get from that has just gone
A mate of mine wrote a letter to rockstar games asking for multiplayer in the next GTA game then San Andreas came out with the the weird two player mechanic and we thought his prayers had been answered lol
They’ll never be another show like Dick & Dom, it came at just the perfect time, pre Social Media, pre UA-cam, before everyone became so “progressive” & sensitive.
Loved your show me and my 2 eldest used to watch you every week. I also saw you at radio one big weekend many years ago you were both having a great time lol lucky wasn’t the show the next day 😂😂😂
It's weird because I used to watch it every time it was on without fail. And then suddenly towards the end of the show, I stopped watching it. It just kinda fell out of existence for me for seemingly no reason. By time it ended, I didn't know for a while.
Omg this is so nostalgic!! Love this 🤣 cannot beleive the French version doesn't mean bogies!! 🤣🤣🤣 me and my brother still say it sometimes and in French well apparently not!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just to bore everyone since no-one asked, "crotte de nez" is indeed the closest translation of bogeys. "Crotte" isn't really comparable to "shit", which I would equate to the word "merde". It's more of a dung, poop, that kind of word. So yeah, the french call their bogeys "nose dungs", and no-one bats a nostril
Who knew that 2 words could cause so much drama?! Leave your suggestions for where the boys should play one final game of Bogies and we'll pin the best one ⬇ 🇳🇺
Jack got his haircut from the same shop as that England top 😂 c’mon the 90’s 🎉
Qatar wold cup, we wanna heat it on TV Commentary, gradually getting louder and louder until the entire stadium joins in 😂
Graveyard?
At the kings crowning 😂
They should do it as a cross promotion with Antiques Roadshow

Bullshit
Bogeys never dies

Nioce sliced tinned peaches
😹😹
Yeah you are lucky! What a time to be alive 😂 I’m jealous
Abit risky Turning up to the BBC as a child, very brave lad
I remember seeing them by chance at a museum in Manchester and my mum noticed and shouted bogies at the top of her lungs in a quiet room. I’m still struggling with awkwardness nearly 20 years later
That isn't awkward man your mum is a legend!
If that's true it's an L reaction from you & you don't deserve a gem like that for your mum - class from her tbh 👏🏽
It's so surreal seeing Dick and Dom it's been 14 years since I saw them on TV
Splatalot, Absolute Genius, Dick & Dom's Bungalow, Diddy TV and Diddy Dick and Dom, The Legend of Dick and Dom, Dick and Dom's Hoopla. Their shows are pretty much ingrained into my memory. So finding out that they're DJs is a surprise but a welcome one at least.
@@BarryMckockinah wow I can't believe I forgot about these legends but those titles bring memories. I loved their shows
Same haircuts for 20yrs 😅
they havent aged a day, im 25 now still ove these lads
@@BarryMckockinah I only remember Bungalow! 29 years old now and smoked a fair bit of weed so I might of seen the others but its been a while

CBBC isn't the same after that, what's up CBBC no cannot hold a candle to the 2000's era of CBBC and CITV, so yeah
Same here. I remember all of sudden they went off the air. I was very confused why I wasn’t seeing Dick and Dom anymore.
@@bradwhite5884 so glad I grew up in that era
I like how proud they are and know how much they meant to people
One of my favourite eps to date! Loved the nostalgia, natural flow of the convo and the fact they both haven’t changed a bit, quality lads!
I love it when my childhood heroes are actually genuinely nice people.
My friend served Dick in a pub and he lived up to his name unfortunately, the constant interrupting here telegraphs that.
Dick and Dom are absolute National Treasures honestly. They completely made millions of childhoods, legendary
Jack's hair looks like he literally just finished filming an episode of Da Bungalow
Dick and Dom are TV legends, no one can change my mind.
The most offensive part of this clip is Jack's trim😂
The absolute best bogies episode by far was the one in ASDA when Dom screams into that carrot. Creases me up every time 😂
I'd completely forgotten that! 😂
For me it's when they have to leave the Peter Pan performance and Dom is shaking afterwards from the stress
surreal seeing these guys. such a massive part of so many early mornings for kids all around the country
These lads were the bomb when I was young. I’m only 26 still but I grew up watching these guys.
mate the entire age group who grew up watcing these guys is in the 25 to probably late 30's age group.

please please please please do bogies in PMQs.

They were back-to-back Children's BAFTA winners in '04 and '05.
Took my kids to watch D&D’s show @ Edinburgh Festival few years back and they still do the 3 finger sign to people when they’re p****d off 😂

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGIES. " - Its an impressive 9.4 from Dom.
I was just a few years too old for Da Bungalow'. However this episode has been ffin Brilliant!!! Proper sound genuine lads.
I’m from the US so I’ve never seen bogies but I just went and watched some and holy shit my stomach hurts from laughing so much lol
Bogies is what everyone remembers but Eeny-meeny-macaraca-rayrey-dominaca-shicky-poppa-dicky-whoppa-pom-pom-stick is where it's really at
I taught my nephew to yell it in the supermarket every time he and his mum went shopping. My sister stopped me going shopping with them after that 🤣
in da bungalow is genuinely my childhood and nothing else will ever compare
This show was the highlight of my weekends during my childhood.
Kids today just aren't allowed the opportunity to be silly
The Morning Wood T-Shirt was probably the most ridiculous thing 🤣 beats bogies in my opinion
Kids are missing out on things like this now, such a shame everything’s changed
I remember the Bogies game, but I never knew it came from the show. I did actually watch the show sometimes, so I don't know how I could have forgotten that.
"NOSE SHIT" 😭😭😭😭 lool 🤣
Literally mentioned you guys today and now your in my recommended 🤔🤔
The game survives to this day. I was on the bus in Swansea just last week and there were a couple of kids yelling bogies on the back seat.
I had totally forgotten about these guys and seeing them in my recommended was a blast to the past
I used to sit and watch D&D with my daughter every weekend lol
As a French man I can confirm that is not true and it means bogies

7:45 Dom is so right about TV shows nowadays not actually being entertaining but they just exist.
That's exactly why I just don't bother with most of it now.
i can’t understand why but these two used to really scare me as a child and my mum would never let me watch them 😳
One of the great Saturday morning duos nearly on par with Trev n simon 🤣
Absolute legends these 2!
I clicked on this and it wasnt the time they lied to that girl about buying her a horse wtf - that was the most iconic and outrageous thing ever haha

I was hoping you’d have asked Dom about his “Morning Wood” t-shirt…
