What are your experiences with healthcare and patient-doctor communication for recurrent and chronic UTI?
Whilst some factors can improve UTI healthcare experiences, such as advocacy, empowerment, and awareness, we hear from many about the barriers that can stand in the way.
To make change, it's important to understand and address the factors that contribute to good experiences and that hinder positive outcomes.
We're therefore planning an interview-based research study on this topic, which we will publish in a scientific peer-reviewed journal once complete. We hope future researchers and clinicians can use this information to guide the development of new practices and tools that prioritise the patient perspective.
