TLDR: I think both cards are just okay and don't deserve the spot in the current way I aim to play Eugene. (This is a lie I honestly think Best Harvest sucks massively in Eugene for a lot of reasons, its a card with Eugene on it but not a card for Eugene) For Best Harvest, Eugene really doesn't have all that much good mass retiring going on, and typically your choices are all a bit messy with Dustin and Brachio being your only 2 reliable picks. Its also a Grade 3 order so it slows down lateefa plays assuming you trade the G2 orders for the G3 order, or if you play more you risk bricking harder. Next is that most decks you'll be fighting against empty their field to 1 or 2 rgs making any best harvest lose a lot of the good impact which was the explosive draw 4 or 5 turns early eugene did (He can no longer do that consistently) and what gandeeva does now. I find the big beatstick booster to be less valuable than every other card in both the lists, like sure hes a big 18k booster but when I'm not using Eugene's SB5 skill and the CB usage in the deck is pretty low he becomes just a stat stick, and if I want statstick boosters I'd rather opt for statstick boosters that convert into another card in hand over being an extra 5k.
Honestly it does make sense, I do agree with most of your changes as the initial game left me with a lot of questions but the new changes I can get behind, it is a different way of playing and I can’t wait to try it and see how it goes, I’m honestly happy and agreeing with all the changes and comments you said, except maybe the front trigger as I’d rather have draws in my opinion because of the attack pattern with Eugene, but other than that I’m sold.
@@BlueStar43032 triggers I always flip flop on, typically I go for fronts because the numbers in this deck are atrociously bad without persona, my attack pattern only ever changes to rg first when the opponent has 1 front row rg left, otherwise im always vg vg rg rg. Also the 20k guard on fronts is greatly appreciated always
Thank you for the content this gave me motivation to dust off my own Eugene deck and rebuild it for the format
Very interesting, a friend actually sent me this because I was asking about this last week
I’d love to try this out as I’m known as the Eugene king xD but why no best harvest though? Or the G1 that CCs and is a good beat stick?
