(*Comment contains Spoilers*) There's actually a theory surrounding this episode of American Dad!, and I think it makes complete sense. The theory is that every episode following the Rapture is Stan's imaginings. This is because at the end of this episode, Stan sacrifices himself and goes to heaven, where he is shown to his room, a.k.a, his "own personal heaven". He enters a perfect replica of his house, and his family is there, too. Because he is an adventurous person who likes challenges, it makes sense that Stan would create his own adventures and challenges in his mind to occupy his eternity. It's a beautiful and genius idea, but it also makes me want to cry a little(-`: Maybe I'm just weird.
It would also explain why the show stemmed away from political themed plots and the radical change of character for side characters, like principal Lewis, and Avery bullock, although bullock was always pretty crazy.
The music kicks a ton of ass. If only a complete soundtrack was released (preferably the one at the "6 years later" mark). Well done on this episode. Just perfect
For clarification. I am not angry in any of the comments I have posted. I used caps to get my point heard. However if this was done to Muslims there would be an outrage and the tv show would receive death threats. You will never get death threats from real Christians. I don't mean those phony christians on tv begging for money and using God has a means of getting rich from gullible people. Im talking about real people that love God and respect others.
this was one of the best episodes of americano dad ever
Yea its predictive programming. thats your future
@@starburst9053 YOU KNOW!!!
So true

If this episode was turned into a video game, I would pay money to play it
Maddy Martinez Hell yea
Blaine Murdoch There is a game based on Armageddon called Darksiders look in to it and if it suits your fancy, give it a try.
The rapture's delight for some reason remembers me the game Darksiders
doom eternal
@@gloriagarcia6832 I'm seeing a little bit of the game and it reminds me of 9. Look it up if you don't know what 9 is.
I would LOVE to see a 2 hour version of this episode!
That episode was badass.
I want to find the soundtrack to this episode. Especially the song at 7:22

I don't even think it's a theory, it was pretty overt how they presented it.
He's in his heaven and this is all his paradise we're seeing.
Your not wierd , your mind is beautiful lol...nice theory btw
Yeah but klaus is dead oh and my apologies on the lateness
That occurred to me too, but I think everything just resets at the end of every episode, a bit like how Kenny is always alive again in South Park.

"Oh, next you'll say I let him bend me over a dumpster before I came to my senses."
“Oh my god, the homeless guy from the bus station is hung. But I knew that.”
Jeff you have mayo on your back
Maaan I would pay for a movie version of this. Even the three part sounds good.
The episode is too good and I wanted more
honestly the last scene always makes me emotional. Like i almost cry. The sax solo with the plot is just so...its incredible
My favorite episode by far. They definitely could have made this a movie or at least a 2-3 part episode

I kind of wouldn’t mind if they created a comic with this art style and theme or surviving the rapture
why did Healy got ruptured?
Love this and "The Two Hundred" episode.
Best episode ever.
This should honestly be a movie. Like the Simpsons Movie and Family Guy Star Wars parodies
it would be better as a movie
Where can I find sax solos like that? Oh my gosh!
Definitely my fav episode... and anything with Stelio Kontos
Favorite episode
Does the ending mean every episode onward is stan's personal heaven?
White Beach I don't think this episode is canon because the golden turd Jesus brings roger isn't included in the golden turd saga
It is, after the wife murders her husband the cop she goes to Boca. And Jesus says he found it at the battle of Boca.
Old Man Mammoth yeah but the wife was given the death penalty and her son finds it in the house
