The fatigue argument is literally null. Golfers play every week for 45 weeks of the year, playing Tues-Sun every week. Stop saying darts is tiring playing one night a week for a quarter of the year.

They play more than one game a week dude. Did you even watch the podcast..... Whatever sport you play, your only healthy enough for that. These guys ain't elite physical specimens. They are pub lads. So yes playing constantly with all that travel will tire anyone. Be fair in your opinion. I understand where your angle is coming from though. Footballers complain playing 3 times a week. We all would play 7 days a week for that money but it does take it out of them when they are used to playing 2 and FIFA makes them play 3.

You can tell you don’t know anything about darts 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Wednesday they are there for media day , Thursday they play , they then get a early next morning flight sometimes to another country to play a European tour event for the weekend , they then play pro tour on the Monday and Tuesday ! That’s how busy a potential darts players life is

Can imagine the constant travelling quite a burden between they will enjoy the break after Thursday , still think a league is a league why do you need a play off whoever is top is surely the champion especially after all those weeks but that’s the way it is, glad the football premier league is decided by who finishes top not some play off.
You need a play off to keep things interesting. Who would watch the remaining weeks when the champion would be known after 13 or 14 weeks?
Look at the hype and you know why there are play offs.

Premier league players travel to the city on Tuesday, have a media day Wednesday, then play up to 3 games Thursday.
Often then they have to travel on Friday to continental Europe to play in 2-3 day ranking tournaments on stage, or play in floor tournaments for 2 days in a row with a potential of 7 games over each day, then travel home on the Monday/Tuesday, just to then do it all again.
It definitely is a gruelling 3 months.
Plus players championship, plus European tours, plus exhibitions, plus media work. It’s gruelling lad.
Can tell some folk don’t know anything about the darts for the top players they play 5/7 days

@@SamOliverYTwell as you said its not just the premier league is it m8 re the schedule its gruelling because of the other tournaments they play in if you follow the sport properly you would probably know this instead of posting a comment saying stop moaning and get on with it 🤣 I know you didnt say that btw they play in the premier league on a thursday night for example the eight players in that and then play in an event at the weekend most weeks so the schedule is gruelling to be fair dont get me wrong tho they are really well paid to do it tho so its a reward for being as good as they are really and the sport growing from what it used to be years ago darts has come a long way in a short space of time really right🤔 lets be honest tho its not like you dont hear people complaining about the schedule in other sports either is it so its not a big deal really that if they say the schedule is gruelling btw my one of my brothers is also called sam oliver small world aint it😁

Mvg is so past his best, I genuinely thought that he would beat Barney's worlds, but that looks very unlikely now, he looks very dis interested. Tonight against humphries he was not good, thankfully he didn't face littler for him or it would have been embarrassing.
