    I have both a C7 z06 and a C8 z06. Honestly i do prefer the torque of the LT4 but i knew this before getting the C8 z06. I knew the torque numbers but i know WOT feeling can be manipulated with gearing. However with that, when you're not flat out, you still need to give a lot more RPM's to match the same acceleration, even moderate, than you would if you drove a corvette of the past because of it's bigger torque numbers down low.
    I have fun driving both cars and they both have their pros and cons. Honestly the only real answer is to own both like i have done. I don't think i could pick one over the other. I really can't. I love both cars for what they are. Both totally different in every facet besides both carrying a "z06" badge. That's where the similarities start and end. That z06 badge. Both cars can't be any more different and that's what's exciting about owning both. If i want a high revving drive, i jump in the C8Z. If i want to pick battles and hoon around in with more confidence on speed, i'll jump in the C7Z.

      This is also my plan. I was wrestling between a C6 Z06 or a C7 Z06. Maybe both. Or just getting a C7ZR1. But I agree 100% with you, as much as I'd like to say the C8Z is better in every way, they're just a totally different experience, and worth having both.

      @@ZeroToZ06 With those options, i would pick the C7 ZR1. A 1 year only monster, you simply can not beat. That said i debated, just slightly, about getting rid of my C7Z for a C6 ZR1. If i went back to a C6 (i had a grand sport), it would be a ZR1. Idk to me a C6Z and a C8Z doesn't really make sense because they're both NA. And FI corvettes are insanely potent, with minimal mods, can turn into monsters. I only have intake, PTB and x-pipe on my C7Z and without a doubt it's a lot faster than my C8Z, which is bone stock. I know the torque makes it feel like it's faster but i know if i do some dragy runs, it'll show how much faster my C7 is 60-130 than the C8Z. At least a full second IMHO.

      Yeah, exactly. And I am willing to sacrifice a bit of speed for the manual in the C7 ZR1. I do enjoy the LS7, but when it comes down to it, the LT5 and the Look of the ZR1 is why it’s my top choice.
      Do you know what kind of power your Z puts down with those mods?

      @@ZeroToZ06 That's another thing, my C7Z is a manual. So that's a bigger reason why i can't let it go. Owned it since brand new in 2016. Car has 35k miles. Has NOT skipped a beat ever. Only thing i had to replace, was my battery lol.
      I don't know what power i make, never put it on the dyno. However with stock manual C7Z's, i think the average is 560-580ish RWHP. So if i had to guess, maybe 600-620RWHP? Car has a lot of top end. It will easily walk a C8Z from 130+.

      @@theguy1224 - Yeah, I see exactly why you considered a C6 ZR1 - the top end is incredible. I love the C7Z, but I figured I'd just snag a ZR1 when the time is right. I'm enjoying the C8Z right now, the track and the handling is a lot of fun. You truly got the best of both worlds!

    low torq high power alot shifting :upshifts and downshifts for stay on fast pace like for this setup /in regard to this setup let say oir goal is 70% from max performance level vs high torq low power less ups and downshifts for be at 70% from max what it got but ultimatellly when it comes to max thrust weaker setup as max thrust is determined be power level at set speed + still 70% from max performance more powerfull less torque setup is more than 70% from more torq less power setup 🪠👌🏻☕️
