Its hard not to notice all the former players who hang out around the team still. Pete and the organization really built something that makes the team feel like family even after they retire or play for other teams.
Also notice how many of those former players were nowhere to be found while Russ was still on the team.
So yeah heard Niko Thorpe too
All the old players started coming back because Russ left

I’m starting to feel the 2012 vibes all over again. SuperBowl bound in next couple of years. The team is young, energetic and is playing all out. Thanks to Russ for forcing himself out of Seattle. It would’ve been all about him if he were still a Seahawk. Like Tyler Lockett mentioned, it’s amazing what a team can do when they don’t care who gets the credit. LOB2.0 in the making. And super bowl loading in the next couple of years! This is the most exciting season for the 12s since the last super bowl win.
agreed, feels like 2012 for sure, but the crazy thing is, next years draft will bring even more high end draft picks... this could be a better team than the SB winning one bro

I was thinking the same as I was watching this. Just the vibes the guys gave throughout the game. Really like the direction this team is going and love these rookies.

I love having a REAL QB. As in a REAL person. LOVE GENO! Love the way he speaks and leads.
Geno is a real dude. He has a passion that Russ always seemed to sort of put on. I didn't doubt him as competent when he started for Russ last year, but this year he is a true leader. Re-sign Geno for 20 mil per year, 3 year contract.
@@droughdough Geno is currently out performing QBs making about 40-50 mil per year. As much as I would like Geno to take a discount, I dont think he goes for anything less than 30 mil and that still might be too low for him. Hope im wrong and he signs a team friendly extension tho!

I loved the BI pinball play, but one of the biggest plays was Shelby Harris’ decisive Herculean effort to run down Jones. His quick decision coupled with the right attack angle coupled with a tremendous effort stopped a potentially big play. I’m so glad you are on our team SH!

Shout out to Tyler Lockett playing like a hall of famer. He had the fumble, the drop, and the not getting the foot inbounds... and STILL scores the go-ahead touchdown late in the game on the double move. We knew he was good but seriously, he's really good.

This season is fun. From Geno to the rookies, and uchenna nwosu being a beast of a free-agent signing, and Pete Carroll proving his brand in a new decade. Even in my best predictions for them I never predicted this.

Haven’t been around long, but this is the most excited I’ve felt for the team, even when we started 5-0 two years ago. Some say it’s like 2012, and I trust where we’re going now.

The thing about the Seahawks is back when they drafted Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner, the annalists gave the draft class a D. Nobody believed in the Seahawks, and 2 years later, they blew out the broncos in the super bowl. This year, same thing, nobody believed in the team, and they are showing just how great they are. This is an exiting time for the Seahawks, 10 years later and they just may do it again.

Pass rush and linebackers, when Taylor gets back we’ll have even more sacks. They’ve been mostly coverage sacks which is great

I still can’t believe this game wasn’t flexed into prime time
Lockett was having a ROUGH day, really uncharacteristic for him, but I'm glad he hung in there and stuck with it. Geno certainly trusts him on those deep passes, and he was laying them out there for him to grab. Really happy for him that he got that redemption on the final passing TD. And the defense is asserting themselves - the D line, the linebackers, the safeties and corners - everybody was in on the play. So great to have Irvin back in the Seahawks locker room. And having Dissly out there on special teams plays was a stroke of genius! Two returns for forced fumble recoveries! I know the game ball went to Pete for his winning record, but if there was a player who came up clutch to give Seattle another shot at the win, it would have gone to Will.

Anyone who says they knew Geno Smith would be great is lying.
The only QB i can think of who was terrible in his 20s and great in his 30s was Jim Plunkett.
I have a feeling drew lock will take over if Geno goes someplace else or even if they sign Geno to a 4 year extension. I think lock knows if he just stays dialed in his best chance of changing his legacy is staying with Seattle like Geno did.
