- I'd Rather Be Tending My Sheep comes from the singing of Lucy Farrell of the Furrow Collective. Lucy learned it from Ruth Tongue's book the Chime Child. Although Tongue claimed that she got the song from an 'Old Shepherd', some are of the opinion that she actually wrote it herself.
This song was shot in the Craic Factory.

a gem , I am happy to discover after downloading one eye one leg from Band camp. this version is so lovely too. this one I can download into my phone so I can hear it in many more places as I move about my day.

@@FireDrawNear I did download the album onto my lap top , but bandcamp noted I could not download (MP3) onto a phone. I am not tech savvy so maybe I am missing something;)

@@FireDrawNear you are correct! I have the Bandcamp app now downloaded onto my phone. Now I can listen wherever I like on speaker , headset, and one of my faves is sharing beautiful songs en route to bringing my 9 yr old daughter and 12 year old son to school. I love sharing beautiful music with others especially my children. I live in Wisconsin, I have family in New Jersey so I will surely hope you visit one of these areas to perform live. Til then I will enjoy music bliss you have created. I do so appreciate u breathing life into older and historical songs.
