I thought about that, and i came to the conclusion that most of them are probably women who "swing for the other team" but still want kids. As they cant have their own kids conventionally. Then another demographic are women who actually want to be single moms for some reason. Then the last few percentages are probably from ladies who have husband's/boyfriends who might not know or dont have any self-respect for themselves. Because if they did i think they'd rather adopt instead because it doesnt matter how it happened the fact is that they're lady went to another man and now that man's kid is in there. actually the judge accounts for income / amount of kids, meaning if one kid would get 100 (just an example) two would usually get like 190 if he had 1000 income. at some point all the kids will have to share a small pod that doesn't grow anymore, which prolly wont go over 50% of his income
The maximum child support in new york state where he lives is 50% if he owes no back pay and supports his spouse or has a child in his house. So basically he just doesn't give these kids anything.
